Already excited for the next game :D Someone is bound to start the thread anyway.

We take a trip down south to London to face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. Will we close the gap and move towards 4th/5th or will Arsenal fight for a much needed 3 points to keep their title hopes alive?

I know some fans are probably willing to give Arsenal a win just to have a chance to stop the Mancs from getting number 19 first but it's a no go for me.

We still have a chance for Europe and we need all the points we can take. Qualifying for Europe is much more important than stopping our rivals from winning the league.

Would love to see the same Passion as tonight's game,Dont know about the same team.Would love to see it but think Kenny will tinker with the midfield away from home.3 points would be great.

I wonder if any players will come back from injury this week, if not I wouldn't mind the same starting 11.

Don't think so. Kelly, Agger, Gerrard and Johnson are far away from full fitness.

Shelvey may start with another week of training in him.

We've really got to transfer the commitment and form shown tonight and at Anfield to this away match and away matches in general. It starts next weekend!

      Same team please!
If any player recovers in time he should be on the bench. Rule #1: Don't make changes to a winning team unless it is a MUST. Subs: Shelvey, Maxi, Poulsen, Jova, Gulacsi, Cole, Amoo.

Might as well be playing in a library given the ferocity of the Arsenal crowd.

Arsenal away. Our least favourite away ground by a long way, no win since 2000 when Tita Camara scored. If we do win it will be remarkable and I think we could nab 5th with Spurs tough run in. If we don't its over but we must finish above Everton...!

Can't see him getting in ahead of Jay and Lucas after that perfomance.

I want to see the same pressing and commitment to challenge for every ball as we showed last night and not back to the lame whimper of a performance on our last away game against West Brom.

Forget the 19th. Even without Stevie's backpass :D, Arsenal will f**k their title bid.
And in any case, Kenny is going to win us our 19th and 20th in 2012 and 2013 respectively. :D

Agreed - lets go gung-ho with the mentality that attack is the best form of defence right from the off. Would rather see us go off having got beat after having had a mighty crack at it than go off with having seen us not try until it was too late like at WBA.

Think we will do them though.

We've not always had the best results away to Arsenal, but then we've never had Carroll and Suarez up against them. Bring it on for another 3 points for us :)

F**k even the thought of letting them having 3 points, thats ridiculous.

We're going for 5th place and that matters more than United getting any title in my book. Worry about yourself first.

Same team should play but Arsenal away are a much different team to City away.

Here's hoping we get the most depressing three points ever! Our interests come first second and third.  I love LFC more than I hate Utd.  We are looking after our own interests. We need 5th place. If that comes at the expense of Utd winning their 19th then we just have to F***ing swallow it and come back next year and reclaim our crown. NEVER EVER put anything ahead of the future of LFC.

All this chat about losing 3 points to spite United is silly... Don't you all know I did the predictor last night and, even with us beating Arsenal, I had them as champs by goal difference.   The disclaimer being that I had Wolves in the top half somehow come the end of May ;)

This is a game for pot shots & crosses.  Think we can bully Arsenal's centre backs & which ever loon they have in goal.

Rodders is right, I fancy Carroll to destroy them in the air. And I fancy Suarez to run them into the ground, especially Squillaci. He is slow and crap in the air. Think we can win this, I say 1-2.
