Samir Nasri and the "passionate" City fans
      Aug 24, 2011 11:13:13 pm
Samir Nasri has completed his move to Manchester City for a fee in the region of £25m

All well and good but what's this?

In an interview with MCTV, he's claimed a deciding factor in his move was the fact that the Manchester City fans are more passionate than the Arsenal fans, even insinuating that the Arsenal fans aren't passionate at all

Yeah, the City fans are real passionate, with their stadium that I've seen or rather heard silent at times and their heated seats

So there you go, mystery solved, nothing to do with the reported ONE-HUNDRED AND EIGHTY THOUSAND POUNDS he'll be recieving a week; lost all respect for him

      What a joker.

      A sublime, fantastic, brilliant joker.

I've said it before but Nasri was the real go to guy for Arsenal, not Cesc. When Samir played well, Arsenal were unbeatable.

You think he was messing with his new club already?

      Doesn't really make sense?

Passionate. . . Why? Because they robbed another clubs backward facing celebration and are funny to watch half attempting it. What the F***ing hell is that? What the hell is. . . What the hell is. . . What the F***ing hell is that? It's a move you copied. . . Badly

citeh fans ARE very passionate - much more so than the plastics at the toilet.

My aunt worked at maine road for years, and used to get us free tickets whenever we wanted them.

IMO the kippax was second only to the Kop.

Although yeah, I suspect the 180 odd k a week probably has quite a bit to with it.

When I heard him say this for the first time ever I thought 'you F***ing dick'. Arsenal fans applauded him and gave him a good reception on Saturday and yet he comes out with that. What an arse hole. What a complete arse hole. The money grabbing pr**k.

Oh yeah, I've met some old school city fans and they've very passionate

However, in their new stadium with their recent success, their games seem a lot quiter than they used to

I just think it's not on to slate your old team's fans so shortly after leaving or at all

      Not even Torres did that

The one rule for football fans is never insult the fans. The good willing fans who effectively pay their wages. Low from Samir Nasri. If he is that stupid off the field then there's a chance he'll be that stupid on it. Of course he like most of his team mates at Man City are only there because of the money so where does the motivation go when that becomes tired?

I know mate, but given some of the grief he's had from Arsenal "fans" it's hardly surprising he wanted to get a little dig in.

I have no idea where arsenal are going, but losing 2 players of the calibre they have hardly bodes well for them.

      Not that I really give a sh*t.

I also think the stadium they are in (city) is not the same as maine road acoustically, plus you get the usual plastics.

I've been to both grounds (although the new place only once, whilst maine road dozens of times) and I have to say it reminds me of the san siro - just flat, no matter how much noise is made, it doesn't produce an "atmosphere"

      Agreed.

F***ing low blow from Samir. There's plenty of fans out there who would have loved him and they did not deserve that, regardless of whatever he thought about some others at the Emirates.

F**k shitty and their millions. cu*ts.

I reckon the Gunners fans will show him how much noise they can really make at the Emirates when they play City at home ;)
