They will be the greatest team of their time. Like Brazil was in the 60s and beginning of 70s, Uruguay untill 1950, etc. Yes it may be the consolidation of an eraHonorable mention to 1954 Hungary and 1974 Holland. Brazil in 1982 was one of the best ive seen too.
I was thinking the same. I think just like choosing the greatest player of all time, it's hard to argue one team from a different era vs a modern one.And Hungary in 1954 scored like 20+ goals right? Obviously have never seen him, but you get the impression Puskas was something very special.
Sensational. If Liverpool play this 'boring' I'll be a happy c**t.
True, although one game doesn't change my opinion that Spain has been boring to watch compared to some of their more recent tournaments.
Reminds me of the first half in Istanbul. Spain, like Milan, were just unplayable. Italy haven't been terrible it's just that Spain have been so good. And without a striker - revolutionary?
Not saying anything directed at someone. Saying it in general - people have been saying this. And it's far from the truth.
I can't understand the logic of bringing Thiago Motta on when you need to score at least twice. And Italy were unlucky too, he's injured and they've made all 3 subs already.
