Cracking signing this when it comes off.

All of their players were fantastic against us. He's been likened to a young Deco. If he is anywhere close to Deco's level at any point in his career, 1 million is an absolute snip.

sounds like a great prospect. I hate to make this comparison I do but I don't think anyone will have anything to say about the strategy of our owners if this lad turns out as good as Ronaldo in a team as long lasting as uniteds. only saying this because he is signed from Lisbon anyway. seems like a great get, I suspect he'd play in the reserves for a year unless he is just too good. did I read he's just turned 19, so he's about a year younger than Shelvey, but if he's as good he'll be in the first team for sure.

I just watched the 15 minute highlights of the Sporting vs LFC game 5-1 loss.  The only highlight in there of Teixeira I seen was when he kicked Sterling for a foul, haha..  he did have some good off the ball movement though.

He scores against us at approx. 4:20 here.

KD confirms Joao Carlos interest

Kenny Dalglish today revealed Liverpool are looking at a deal to sign teenage playmaker Joao Carlos.


The 19-year-old starred against the Reds for Sporting Lisbon in the NextGen Series earlier this season, scoring the opener to help his side win 3-0 at Anfield.

Soon he could be putting in similar performances in a red shirt.

Dalglish told his pre-Bolton press conference: "There might be something about that, yes.

"If we've something to say we'll tell you but I think there might be something on that.

"He's only a kid."

On whether there would be much activity in terms of signing senior players, Dalglish added: "We're expecting a quiet window. The Academy aren't, but we are."

I suppose for the first team, we're making enquiries, but aren't going to let ourselves get ripped off.

I'd only expect really good value deals to go through, like this kid here, rumoured to be signing at just £1 million.
