Unfortunately at 7:45 this evening I'll be in college applying plaster to a wall. Thank the lord of digitalisation for recording. I'll be driving home with a cd on so as to avoid any scores and after a very swift shower I'll be catching up.

Then I'll be popping in later to celebrate.

I'm feeling a bit cautious about this one. I think within the first 10 mins we will know which Liverpool team will show up tonight. Let's hope it's the better of the two that we've seen this season.

I know we can win this without a doubt but, my confidence has taken a bit of a knock, especially after our last performance. If I were a betting man though, I would put money on us winning. Let's hope Kenny has put a big enough rocket up their asses and we come out all guns blazing and get an early goal to steady the nerves.

*No Carroll. Didnt really fancy him to play tonight anyway, Bellers and Kuyt's work rate is much better and they can put more pressure on the ball up top. Andy is probably being saved for Man U's makeshift back 4 on Saturday.

*Charlie Adam gets a start in the abscence of Spearing. Very, very worried about this one, Adam will definately leave gaps to get in behind for Silva and co. and so Stevie will have to stay back and discipline him, which will lead to a quiet performance from the Cpt. And at the moment Stevie is one of the very few goal threats we have and so because of this, i dont fancy us to score today.

Worried about the midfield, but with Spearo out, I'm afraid we don't have too many other options (I'd like to see Shelvey play more often, but probably wouldn't be fair to throw him to the lions in the big game). Glad Andy is on the bench.
