Kuyt to score the winner, just got a feeling.

Think we need Big Andy today though, especially without Agger. Set pieces against Arse are too good a chance to not stack it in our favor.

Massive game today lads...as they all are these days I suppose eh..
Home advantage must play its part today and I expect a huge noise throughout the game from our supporters..
will we parade the trophy I wonder before KO?..I hope so...
Gotta keep Walcott quiet today and make our chances pay off when we get them..
I'm going for a 3-1 win us as I feel our tails are defo up after last week...Bellers , Kuyt and Suarez to score.. ;)
      C'MON YOU REDS... ;)

I think this will be a tough game for us. Arsenal are rubbish at the back, but have started scoring again. We are great at the back but cant put the ball in the net. I go for either a boring 0-0 OR a bagful of goals and anyone's game. My head says 0-0....my heart says 4-3 to the reds.

Anything other than a win today and we can say bye bye to 4th place - we won't be able to crawl the points back on Arsenal or Chelsea and that's not being pessimistic, it's being realistic. Not going to be one of those dilluded fans that thinks we can win every game because we have proved all season we struggle to even f***in beat the likes of QPR, Blackburn etc.

      The Arse can be spoilers.
I had just moved in to an old farm Spring Bank Holiday 1989 and I was looking forward to us getting our second double.
The Arse were up against it.
The odds the ides and the force just had to be with us.

It had been a re arranged game after Hillsborough.
Everyone wanted the Double that year.

For them to get the League Title they had to win by 2 clear goals at Anfield.
We had just got the FA Cup.

      Ours to lose.

Lose we did. As it says in the article.

Arsenal won 2–0, with a last-minute goal scored by Michael Thomas – the final goal, in the final minute, of the final game of the league season – giving them their ninth First Division title and denying Liverpool the chance of a second Double.

The match is considered to be the most dramatic conclusion to a league season in the history of the English game.

Im a Red. I want us to win, to bring us back within striking range of fourth and to give us a chance of fourth spot.

Why when you look at the previous results and our home (draw) form at Anfield this season (our own problem in the final third) do I have this feeling that the party poopers are here again.

Be away with ye thoughts of dread.
Be away with ye the ghost of Mr C B*stard George.

Need to have our shooting boots on today, Arsenal came back well to beat Spurs last week, to prove they will be no pushovers despite their hammering in Europe the other week. I'll go for2-1 for the Reds.

      I'd be happy with that.

      Big game for Kelly.

Let's hope Downing can keep that form.
