agree. We havent played well at all but we were still the better team in the first half imo.

Rubbish refereeing

Andy is still too sluggish, need to move around the box more and not remaining static and he didn't pick up crouch either, just inside the box doesn't mean anything when he doesn't make use of his presence. Downing is not contributing at all, his crosses were awful to watch. bellers in the 2nd half.

Gerrard needs to get the ball more, it seems spearing is playing the deepest to pick up the balls where as against Everton Gerrard was controlling the game from deep.

Carroll has played well, neat couple of touches here and there, not much else to say. Suarez and Maxi have linked up well think Maxi needs to be a bit quicker when releasing the ball, Suarez just needs to keep shooting.

Really poor performance. Downing and Kelly have been especially awful. Suarez the only one yet again who looks like he might create something, cracking goal.

Kelly has been Jekyll and Hyde. He's had a couple very nice tackles and interceptions in defense. But in attacking he's been really really poor. I'd say he's hurt us more than anyone in that regard at this point.

Henderson for Maxi at some point for me, Downing back on the left. Henderson can produce those passes that cut straight through a defence and that's what we need in my opinion.

He collapsed during the match at White Hart last night. Heart attack.  Apparantly he died, then was resuscitated by medical staff while lying on the pitch.   Awful.

Hopefully we buy good technical players in the Summer to bring the best out of Suarez with the right players around him he will be the best player in the league next season.

Back to the game and I'm not too worried as they are creating very little and with a bit more quality especially from the wide men another goal or two is there for us.

Comparing what we havent done to what they do isnt really what we should judge ourselves on in my opinion.

Been some brilliant link up play we had along with some terrible easy give away. Saw some real quality in the maxi/suarez goal and some nice back heal/flicks between suarez and carroll.

Mixed bag so far brilliantly brilliant and pedestrian sloppy.

What's in Andy's mind??? Slow to re-act to a pass, not moving enough inside the box and got bullied most of the time by defenders. It's frustrating.
