This has been a bizarre season

      - Big expectations after a lot of money spent in the summer
      - Lucas Hurt
      - 8% conversion ration
      - Beating the big boys and losing to small fish
      - How many draws? how many dents in the wood-work?
      - Suarez and Evra
      - Carling Cup victory
      - Losing streak
      - FA Semi-final

I don't know about you guys but I am emotionally tired, it has just been a roller-coaster. I know that if I feel this way then how must the squad feel?

I am more concerned with spirit than I am form.

I am more concerned with pride than pretty.

I see Shelvey improving, any positive sign from Andy and other small things and hope that it is the beginning of something.

My expectation have not been crushed because personally they were lower than others though of course I wanted it all.

Rest of the year I take one match at a time and try to find the good even if the result is not what I want or the style is not pretty.

Can't see what the fuss is about if that's the whole interview?

Me neither. Typical Kenny when talking to Sky.

Why does Kenny act like a pr**k in most interviews?

He doesn't owe the journalists any "forthcoming" response to any prying question. I also think the whole turning-on-Dalglish-for-daring-to-stand-by-Suarez, by the British media didn't help too.

I'm no conspiracy theorist but it doesn't take a genius to see the tabloids rip Kenny to shreds every week

Not to mention a certain bias to our whiskeynosed friend up the M62

You watch them turn a much needed win into something negative

Lesser men wouldn't carry themselves like Kenny does under such duress

Here is Kenny talking to the BBC - he basically says the same things but in a nicer manner:

Kenny wasn't acting like a pr**k in the interview, he told him he didn't want to discuss it and he doesn't like Sky for obvious reasons. This kind of attitude clearly doesn't see the whole picture, I liked his attitude towards the interviewer.

      Agreed 100%

Said what he had to, nothing more, nothing less

Only disgrace in that interview was that Kenny was blocked when he first attempted to leave the interview.
The c**t in this case was the interviewer.

Seems to me that everyone has a lot more to say after a defeat than a win. Just popped my head back in the QPR match thread and it had done about another 3 pages a couple of hours after the match than this one.

I've seen a few others (who have been here a much longer than I have) say the same thing in the past. I find it rather strange how it turns out that way.

Me, I'm buzzing and post more when we win than when we lose or draw.

I think Kenny is considering appealing against Doni's sending off after listening to that.

Flano was awful, really really awful, reckless, nervous, I'm not kneejerking here but I'm honestly trying to think if I've ever seen a player play a worse 25 minutes of football

Good job Kenny took him off, he was heading for a second yellow easy

Perhaps he's just not ready but if he looks that unsure of himself against Blackburn, he's in for a shock against the likes of United and City

Yeah he looked out of his depth tonight but in reponse to the last bit about being in "for a shock against the likes of City" lets not forget the lad had Balotelli in his pocket for 90 minutes in his debut against them last season. I'd hope and expect to see Jonno back on the right in Saturday mind.

True. Shocking that the FA upheld the young dive as a valid infringement and consequently, the appeal against the red card by QPR failed.

Commentators would have had a f**king feel day had we lost, any slight set back and they sharpen their teeth.

They want Kenny to fail & fall.

As Rafa pointed out you cannot have a Independent FA when you have a pro Manc support on board, Suarez case come's to mind.

I watch watching a Fox sports link and the wankers were falling over themselves when Doni was sent off and were even claiming Jones should have gone too and how they wanted Blackburn to win, no impartiality there i tell ye!

Our players can learn a thing or two about making runs into the box from Maxi and some stuff from putting balls into the box like Bellamy.

And once again, Agger gets an assist after coming on as a substitute.
