Can wasn't awesome today but nor was anyone! For me, Can has looked near faultless in defence. No reason to move him out just yet.

Thought he was very poor in midfield against Besiktas away. Thought then he had a lot of work to do in midfield compared to defence, as bizarre as it seems. I'm not criticising Rodgers in anyway though - he had no choice but to put Can there given the injury of Allen.

To be fair the team looked lethargic and didn't have a week to prepare unlike Blackburn.
