If he's sacked before season's end, then that's a bad move. I think he's earned the right for one full season at least. Things can turn around and all we need are a few wins on the trot - something we are capable of doing - and we can be right back in the hunt for fourth or even higher. Look at Newcastle, they were bottom yet they are now joined fourth. Sure the Toon are not going to be there in the run in, but I use it as an example of what 3 points for a win can get you in this league. I'd argue we are a better side than Newcastle too
For me, if the Gaffer was sacked, it will be down to stubbornness and not from a lack of coaching ability. The Gaffer has to be seen backing his players (Migs et al) because he brought them in. Also, if he sells his own players within 6 months, that's not going to send a positive message to future potential players
We have the foundations we just need to build on them. Last season I said to my boy that we are now playing some of the best football I've ever seen from a Liverpool side. My point is there's no way one single player is the cause of all that. It's more the 'type' of player; which is why the Gaffer went for Loic Remy. Whilst not as good as Suarez, he is a Suarez 'type' player in as far as Remy is quick and can hit the gaps with good acceleration, just like Suarez (who wasn't exactly quick, but 'saw' the gaps).
The biggest problem I have with LFC at the moment is our transfer policy and transfer buys; they are woeful for the most part and that has to change. Gaffer needs to sort it out and when I think about it, when it comes down to brass tacks, I believe he will.
