Rangers/Celtic - Liverpool/Everton

Hi guys, just new to this site, so I apologise if this thread has been started before, but I was just writing to ask Liverpool fans opinion on whether they feel more linked to Celtic or Rangers? I'm an Celtic fan from Edinburgh and always felt connected to Liverpool FC, thus I follow them as a 2nd team.

So, in closing, would you as Liverpool fans say you feel more linked with Celtic and therefore Everton/Man United with Rangers, or would you say its Rangers/Liverpool against Celtic/Everton?

About 20 miles south of Belfast.

As I said some people over here are still obsessed with having to have one of either Celtic or Rangers as one of the teams they support.

I've never understood the concept of supporting two sides .. I have enough stress and sleepless nights with one.. 

Seriously no other club "means" anything to me personally.. I have a couple I dislike more than others but none i like above any other..

Anyway back on topic, I'm sure there are people who support Liverpool/Celtic or Liverpool/Rangers and fair enough if that's what keeps you happy but I just don't get it.

I know Rangers fans who support Liverpool. I also know Celtic fans who support Liverpool. There is no such allegiance depending on what side of the Old Firm you support I feel.

I have always supported Celtic

I have to echo everyone in here. I support Liverpool and at all levels. I also support my local MLS club because I'm proud of my city and all and want the game to grow in the US. But it's really Liverpool I spend all day and all night discussing and only Liverpool. I'm a bit partial to Borussia Dortmund, but nothing to the extent of LFC. Liverpool is the only club shirt I wear, although I do where a Chicago Fire shirt when I go to the games, but again it's my local club.

One club only for me. The only other football team I support is England, but that doesn't count.

Really? Yet another one of these divisive threads and in the Kop board as well.

Scottish football is pish anyhow and the Scottish Premier League even more laughable without Rangers. Why anyone feels the need to bring the sectarianism of the ugly sisters to a Liverpool forum is beyond me. For that reason alone I'm out of this crappy thread.

 While I only have eyes for Liverpool Football Club it is worth going back in history a little bit to the 1960s.In those days there was mutual admiration  between Liverpool and Celtic,this was because of the respect Bill Shankly and Jock Stein had for each other.In those days those 2 were the managers every club  desired as was seen by the successs they both had with their respective clubs.In finishing why would we not love Celtic,after all it was thanks to them we got the fantastic Kenny Dalglish.Do I support Celtic,no but I do respect them.

Disappointed, expected someone to bring up different cheek of the same arse before now. 

i like them as a club better than rangers, maybe because they sing YNWA but not as well
