Downing, while pretty much anonymous at the weekend didn''t really cost us anything and Enrique had a good game so I'm happy enough with that for now on the left.

Not so delighted with the midfield three though, especially if they play as they did on Sunday.

With Downing the manager might be playing a bluff. He could line the team as

TBH I'm more confident with Downing (with the help of Enrique) vs Lennon than I would be with Wisdom vs Bale, so for me it's kind of a small plus. In terms of naming the team.

And yes, Dembele is a big addition for them, could cause us trouble he could.

Well, I'm a bit concerned with Downing at LB given Spurs' wide play. He'll need to be on his toes and Enrique will have to help out a bit. The midfield three isn't very creative, but Henderson and Allen have lots of energy so maybe it's going to be more of a press and counter type of play today.
