Remember his first team debut against QPR on the final day of the 2012/2013 season (Carra's last game)?

Created a goal scoring chance within minutes after he came on. I was looking at his movement after he came on. Made some good runs.

He's got to get as much game time as possible. Really don't want this recall to stunt his growth at all.

Solid little cameo for the young lad.

Personally I think he can surpass Sterling, big call I know but there's just something about him.

In the long run may be. The thing that separates Sterling from his age group is his end product. We have seen a lot of quick wingers dribble past defenders and aimlessly put ball into the box. Lennon,Oxlade,Young,Walcot etc. Sterling for his age have excellent vision and anticipation.

this lad might be getting game time sat as we have bolton, chelsea in cup need to rotate a bit.

top young player and can have the same impact as sterling this year.

that what i meant sorry due to having bolton a week wed(its on bbc fixture list) we will have to rotate some attacking players so he might feature some point v west ham or even start v Bolton next wed.

The lad's got confidence, skill and will not take sh*t off anyone.
Cannot believe he is only 19, probably the best prospect we have.

BR is excited by the lad's potential:

It won't be much of a problem him being cup tied for the FA Cup, there's not many rounds left if we even do get through them. He will more than likely play in the league or Europa games each side of the FA Cup game against Palace and hopefully more.

I said to a mate 2 years ago this lad had more ability than sterling and he laughed at me :-) .

I was shocked when he started the game yesterday but boy, what a game he had and he showed everyone just a glimpse of what he can do.

Pace, tricks, powerful shot on him, disciplined in defensive duties, confident strong and direct. There is no dilly dallying with this lad. I could not understand why we did not get the ball out to him more. He had the beating of oviedo all day. When you see him performing like this it makes you wonder why £25m went on Markovic when we were crying out for another top striker.

Looking forward to seeing more of him in the league and also the european games where the experience will bring him on even more. Well played Jordon.

Markovic cost £20m not 25. And our striker issues have nothing to do with Markovic either. We signed Balotelli remember?

Markovic signing made plenty of sense. Balotelli signing made none.

I did not say that the Markovic signing had anything to do with our striker issues.

I questioned as to why we did not use the £20m (not 25) to put toward a  TOP striker instead. Balotelli is not a top striker.

Ibe plus a top striker would be better than Markovic and balotelli.

I agree with you. Still believe we wasted a hell of a lot of money and made the wrong signings which set us back this season. Moreno is the only one that made sense for me.
