General LFC Transfer rumours/gossip thread

1)Henderson, not a Liverpool Captain, never!!!!  I think of the great Liverpool captains, Souness, Gerrard, Thompson, Hansen- these guys had presence.  Hendo, nice guy im sure, but not a liverpool captain!  thats where we must start - find a leader!!!!!  n

3) VVD and Keita - forget about, and find suitable alternatives.  How can we not have a back up plan?!

Man, this sucks. We are not able to offload the players we don't want. We are not able to sign the players we want. We are not able to keep the players we want without having any problems. We go and give a grovelling apology to a club for tapping up. In spite of signing Salah, this is probably the second worst transfer window in the recent past. I hope I am wrong and something substantial happens soon.

My guess - my HOPE - is that after getting their knuckles rapped over the supposed 'tapping up' of VVD, the people who mysteriously conduct transfer business at LFC are making all their moves in secret.  If that's possible!

Maybe we'll have a series of transfer deals done and dusted before the deadline and announced only when finally completed.

In last 9 seasons we've done 18 deals for buying players in the last two weeks of the window, averaging 2 per year, that's the hope i'm clinging on to.

we need a proper leader - not an average midfielder.  Im afraid i have to say it, Hendo is an average midfielder...  full of heart and all that , but, lets face it.... More Everton than Liverpool standard

If I was one of the promoted clubs I'd make a play for a three mon loan deal and pay his wages till the January window. Would be a cracking piece of business for a side like Newcastle Andy it would keep him clear of European competition for a January sale.
