I remember reading somewhere how Harry Kewell was plagued week knee related and groin problems at Liverpool and only when he departed from the club and when back to Australia di the doctors back home fix what they claimed was a simple problem,

Torres claim that there were problems with the medical staff and their treatment of his injuries at LFC

Two players complaining about similar things with our medical staff...?

Dropping the ball with AOC pass injury record...?

I would't trust them to make a judgement on a player

Do you think the same people were involved ?

I respect what you a say Shabs, but had those same specialist had reviewed AOC medical reports properly and be more fastidious in going about their jobs they would not have signed AOC,or "IF" they were a thought the risk was worth taking they should be sacked...

It was not always obvious to me sometimes Shabs, but I have to say I have come to appreciate your rather dry wit.

I donā€™t think it was so much that Fekirā€™s knee is a massive risk of going again. IMO, itā€™s more a case of his surgery being done in a different way to what the club would have expected. Or at least thatā€™s how I have interpreted it. Doesnā€™t mean to say itā€™s been done badly though, I think if it was done badly it would have gone again by now.

But itā€™s all water under the bridge really. From my perspective, if we go back for him then great, Iā€™d be really happy with that. But if we donā€™t, we donā€™t, nothing more to it.

If we donā€™t go back for Fekir though, I really do think we need to go all in for Bruno Fernandes. Seen some more talk today of Sporting having money problems still and will have to sell him a lot cheaper than his release clause.

16 goals last season, in 56 games and this year he is already in 20 goals in 38 games, with about 11 assists too.

In terms of a Coutinho replacement, I think them two are the best options around right now. Weā€™d be foolish to pass up on them both IMO.

      Different medical teams

      Different owners

      Different manager's

      Not at all related

You havent read what he is saying have You? At all

For all you have looked at their medical history ( 😂😂😂😂😂😂) independent (qualified) doctors have given the club advise

I was about to post the same as what you have posted.

Really need more attacking options this summer. Origi doesnā€™t cut it.

Defence has great cover now and we have plenty of midfield options too. We do need to off load some to make way for a couple of top quality players and we have OX and a couple of really good kids who should be starting to get time on the bench

I reckon one top forward and one v good potential, possibly even promoting from youth, that's all we really need.

wait until Rhian Brewster gets up to speed he is like a young Michael Owen only a better finisher and yes I am being serious. Then look how well Harry Wilson is doing at Derby and they are two for sure who will make an impact next season so for me lets buy quality that can command a place and get these kids on the bench and playing

Rhian will be interesting to keep an eye on next season

Wilson I believe will be sold this summer with his value at a peak

      Agreed.

Great left foot but I just donā€™t think his all round game is gonna make a significant dent in our squad.

It happens. Think his situation has been well handled all round.

Heā€™s had great experience, will get a decent move and we will get a good return.

The reason why I don't think we will buy Werner in the summer. I think we will go for 1 forward, but more a left wide player than striker and give Brewster a chance.

I think that would be a mistake, we need an out and out striker, preferably a Harry Kane type, ie big strong lad who's good with the head etc, we still need a plan B for tackling stubborn teams and all to often our balls into the box are easily defended.

      Highly highly unlikely

The manager's plan B is to be better at plan A

He's not what he was suggesting though is he

Icardi isn't 6ft. Hardly a change in plan hit the target man type

      He'd be a plan A option

Which is more likely than a John Carew type

Well, he did say a Kane type, so I assumed it was more of a complete striker, and Icardi is the better version of Kane imo. Would certainly give us a different option over Firmino.

But yeah, I don't agree with a big target player, nor do I believe a plan B should only indicate a big target player as there are so many variations you can have in a plan A.

Icardi albeit a pr**k is a very good player but not the type I think he meant with big strong lad who's good with his head

Icardi would fit well with Klopps plan A for me but I don't see us going in for that type myself I tend to agree with you that it will be more  wider option who comes in and Brewster will get his chance

Yes I guess I do mean a target man, but not just some big lump, he would have to have skills and be a complete striker, ie someone like Kane, who whilst I agree is a bit of a c**t is still a fabulous striker.

Not in our system I donā€™t think he would be Heimy.

He pretty much just tries to make space for a shot wherever he is on the park.

He is technically competent but not - in my opinion - sophisticated enough to fit in our side.

He might score more than any individual of ours (might) but Iā€™ll wager weā€™d score less overall.

      I donā€™t see JĆ¼rgen starting to look for a ā€œhold the ball upā€ or ā€œfocal pointā€ striker.

He wants the oppo to be confused and overloaded.

So more of an Mbappe type then ;)

      I'd be fine with that.
