What ever happenned to...

Anyone remember Greg Vignal? The French left-back.

Yeah. Now that you mentioned him I've just looked him up. Very surprised to learn that he was last at Dundee United just last year although he left in November 2012 without ever making a first team appearance. Was a decent player for Rangers when we sent him on loan there a few years back and then I remember him playing for Portsmouth. After that not much. Seems that his career has now all but stalled. If you're not getting games for a middling SPL team then you've got serious problems! Still only 31 as well.

Craig Linfield, he scored a goal for us in pre-season a few years back, everyone raved about him and I've literally heard nothing of him since.

Another one, is Kristian Nemeth, who everyone had watched for the ressies, banging in the goals and then just fell off the face of the earth.

If I remember right Vignal was playing well for us at left back,I seem to recall he got a bad injury and never recovered his form .I think he did ok at Rangers then he fell by the wayside.

Does anyone remember what happened to striker extrordinaire Sean Dundee when he left us? Remember when he came in he was gonna be the next "big thing" and he turned out to be a right flop.

Sander Westerveld, what ever happened to him?

Sander was actually a really good keeper.
It's funny how at the time I thought he was ok but as time went by I appreciated him more.

I also remembered being hugely excited when souness brought mark Walters down from rangers.
I was thrilled by the idea of having him on one flank and Johnny Barnes on the other.
Could have been spectacular but was never consistent enough.

What happened to Sissoko. He couldn't dribble or pass but the opposition wouldn't have played tika taka anywhere near him. Before his eye injury he could win possession as the 1 in a 4 v 1. He really was amazing for that brief period. I suppose if you make Djimi Traore look like a no 10 you have to have something in your locker.

Hobbs is playing for notts forest on loan from hull. Bouzanis plays for Oldham. Anderson has just signed for Ipswich from bristol city. Ecclestone plays for Blackpool, but he doesn't get much game time I don't think. Nemeth plays for Roda JC in the Netherlands, wiki says he only has 2 goals in 26 games for them though
