Frustrated I won't be able to watch this!

Should be interesting to see what kind of a team we put out. For the first time in a few years, we have a few guys in a number of positions that could conceivably start. Of all the deadline day signings, Moses is the only one I think who starts this one. Ilori is for the future and Sakho might need some time for adjustments.

Yeah mate think your right, I expect Moses to start ahead of Aspas. Sakho will probably be on the bench with Skrtel and Agger starting at CB.

It's only a must win game if we want to keep our 100% start and to be top of the tree, it's not as if its our last possible opportunity to grab a CL spot or god forbid stay in the EPL, look, we both want the same so I think splitting hairs is a good way to agree and not get to pedantic,

what team would you put out to grab the 3pts ?
      this would be my selection......

                    Mignolet
        Toure. Skrtel. Agger. Jose
              Gerrard.    Lucas
      Hendo.    Coutinho    Moses
                    Sturridge

With Glen out I've put Toure in ahead of Wisdom, for his experience and organising skills, he may not be the quickest these days but I'm sure he'll cope,

I'd love us to batter them but I'd settle for another 1 nil.

      YNWA

Pretty much that line up to be honest apart from I would go Toure CB and kelly if fit enough at right back, if not then I'd be tempted to try Illori at right back because of his pace and the fact he used to be an attacker. I don't think Toure suits Right Back and I know Skrtel had a good game against the Mancs but he was so inconsistent last season, hed have an ok game and then have a mare, he only played against the Mancs because Toure was injured and given Toure's form for us so far I think he deserves to regain his place starting at the back in place of Skrtel. Wouldn't be at all confident about Skrtel up against Michu or Bony either to be honest!

I'd like to see Sakho start but Agger can't be dropped due to his form and I can't see him starting left back even though he can play there!

Whatever the line up though we certainly have the quialty to see toff the threat that Swansea can pose!

Be nice to win to get a gap opened at the top but a must win 4 games in?

The most important reason for us to win in my view is to get what you might call an expected 3 points after beating a top 4 side previous. Too often in the past we have beaten a utd or Chelsea only to drop points then to a Swansea or Hull in the next game

This will be the first game this season that I haven't gone to  :( bit far to go to Swansea. It seems so long ago that we spanked the mancs at Anfield and feel like Ive been starved of my Redmen, so really looking forward to tomorrow, I think it will be a hard tough game for us, but I think we'll just sneak through by 2 goals to 1 and move back to the Top of the League.

Looking forward to seeing who Brendan picks to play as well, could be interesting.

Keep the pressure up lads and let's sit back nice and snuggly on our perch  :scarf:

Need to be careful here, and make sure we get the win, any win.
      I think we'll see;

                                Mignolet
       Wisdom      Sakho       Agger        Enrique

                    Gerrard                 Lucas
                              Henderson
             Moses                             Coutinho
                              Sturridge

Subs:  Jones, Toure, Skrtel, Allen, Alberto, Sterling, Aspas

Will be good to see what Sakhos made of, if he doesnt get the node before Toure or Skrtel will be interesting to see how they handle covering the flank as Wisdoms been off recently, but not sure what other cover we have.

Can see Sturridge making it and bagging another. Can see Aspas coming on and causing problems too - will probably replace Moses, but would like to see how Sturridge/Moses/Aspas link up with Coutinho  behind, with that said we're away from home so think BR will want Hendos stamina in the middle.

Good game for Aspas to get a another start for me. He needs to learn, Moses is on loan so would be an impact sub I guess.

The beautiful thing is that there is genuine belief that we'd get something out of this.

where has all our confidence come from?. I can't see us getting beat tonight and the lads will know a good win will put a good margin between us and some teams that were flouted as Champion's material.

Hope Moses plays from the start . Think he'll be quality for us and he's pace to burn . Sturridge for another.
Tricky game but should be good enough for the win

Expecting a very difficult game. They will make it hard for us and the styles of play sort of clash. Hopefully everyone is okay after the international break. I've predicted a 1-1 scoreline. Don't mean to be pessimistic, I just think it will be difficult.

That's the line up I'd like to see.

3 pts Redz, keep the pressure on, we can turn Swansea over.

I hope Studge scores a goal too, to teach Laudrup that his team are his concerns. W@nker.

      Potential banana skin this one.

Lot's of bad press lately with Danny S and also the fact we haven't lost....  Pressure on players but surely this is the type of pressure our core players (Stevie, Agger, Lucas, Martin etc) have wanted for years.

Little need for a team talk, win = back to the top.

5 points ahead of the Mancs.

should be 7 points ahead then 10 points when they lose to city.  Stupid diving yesterday. Still annoyed that United and Arsenal got undeserved points. We have to save penalties to get three points while it's still being handed to them on a platter. Massive amounts of points are being decided by refs. Three points will make me feel better tonight,  especially if we can show people how to win fair.  Net five past Swansea!

If we can stay compact in midfield, I believe we should be able to cripple their play.

This is a game we can't lose.  Not because of the league or even keeping the streak going, we just can't let the bitters be the last unbeaten team in the Premiership.  The DVD sales that that achievement alone could make them enough money to loan someone else in, in January.

I see where people are coming from saying Henderson to right back. But why would ye take out perhaps our most impressive midfielder so far from midfield. Particularly when we have Wisdom, who never but a foot wrong when he came in against utd there?

For me Wisdom gets the chance with option 2 if fit Toure.Leave Hendo where he is with Lucas and Stevie

               Mignolet

      Wisdom Skrtel Agger Enrique

             Hendo Lucas Stevie

      Moses    Sturridge       Coutinho

Again Sakho might be an obvious call but Skrtel deserves to old his place after the utd game. If anything its Agger who Sakho could come in for but Id give that partnership another outing tonight

My only worry with Toure at RB is if he can handle running up and down the field at his age. I would go for Wisdom there with Moses replacing Aspas in the starting line up. Rest remains the same.
