At home, to Villa, would attack them from the off.

                     Migs
      Jonno Skyrtel Toure/Sahko Cissokho
        Sterling  SG   Hendo   Coutinho
               Suarez   Sturridge

Though if Allen available he might go:

       Allen  SG   Hendo
      Sterling  Suarez   Sturridge

Coutinho's finishing has ben a bit off, but he's a really good attacking player, and with Sturridge back there's less of a scoring burden on him. So could play him and that would be a REALLY attacking, in form, front 4.
Lucas is a solid guy to be able to bring on later.
Look forward to seeing us play these days - when we hit stride going forward, we're class to watch :)

I am a little nervous about this game. It's all set up for us to lose. We have to be professional and ready as, regardless of what opposition we come up against, they will make us suffer if we slip up. No messing about!

Getting a bit worried about this game now. Brendan has done an awful lot of talking this week.... and we all know what usually happens after that :(

Problem with Henderson is he isn't quite as keen on tackling as either Gerrard or Lucas, plus he is doing very well were he is, can't see the point in forcing him to start over in a new position.

Simplest solution is to buy a top defensive midfielder and then let Lucas, Gerrard, Allen and Henderson compete for the other two starting berths.

That's a diplomatic way of saying you don't like Lucas.  :D

Kiss of death mate. Said we can win the league, that Sturridge is on his way to being world class and Ibe is going to be a great player.

All may have some merit, just that we all know what happens next :)

Just before we played Villa and lost 3-1 :-

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers sets his sights on a top-two finish
Brendan Rodgers has challenged his Liverpool players to continue their winning form after targeting a top-two finish in the Premier League. The Reds entertain Aston Villa on Saturday looking for a third straight league win - something they have not achieved since the 2010-11 season.

"We lie four points off the top four," said Rodgers.

"For me the ambition is to grow higher. We are 11 points off second and that can all turn around very quickly."

I've gone for 2-0 and ignoring all the hype about title wins and walkover of the VIlla !
      Hopefully a brace from Luis.

No reason why not if all the paper work on the loan is completed before the team sheet is submitted.

They are going to have play fantastic and us sh*t if we are to loose this, now considering that we've been quite poor lately I hope this is the game for us to bounce back into top gear. I think if we score early then this could be a big big score, if not then it could be quite tight but I still see us winning this. I'm going for 4-1 to us.

A win for the Reds, with Sturridge on from the start, who certainly looks in good form, with his first goal, after coming back from injury, against Stoke. A great chance of a top four finish if all the main players stay fit and well.

      SAS      Sterling
           Hendo
       Lucas    Gerrard

      ....back four and Migno.

We need to crush them! And I would like to see Aspas and Luis Alberto play the second half.
