Uruguay will appeal but it would be unwise of Liverpool to do that as it would be spun by the gutter press that we don't take the incident serious. Besides, this works in our favour to some extent. It's highly unlikely anyone will attempt to buy him now but his ban doesn't extend that far in to the season, only October.

So that's Southampton, City, Tottenham, Villa, West Ham, Everton, West Brom, QPR and Hull in the league.  He will also miss all of the CL, FA Cup, and League Cup games.  Probably a total of 15 matches that he will not be eligible for.  In 3-1/2 seasons he has managed to get himself banned for almost an entire campaigns worth of games (8 + 10 + 15 = 33 matches).  Lost for words....

Fa Cup doesn't start until January, we'll either play one or two league cup games during that period.

But we'll probably have played about 3 CL games by that point, so it will be between 12-15 games.  We also have a very difficult start to the campaign, so we could be some way off in the title race by the time he returns....  F***ing makes my blood boil!!  How could he be so F***ing stupid?!

Aye you're right. Point still stands though. Unlikely now he'll be sold this campaign and it could have been a lot worse. If nothing else, this just upped the ante on our transfer dealings this window.

He hasn't completed a full campaign with us yet. Regardless of what we think of him as a player, the lad has serous issues and is being very badly advised by Uruguay. He better be sat down with a shrink over those four months because this is becoming a farce.
