Cavani doesn't look like a £50m player in the Uruguay setup does he?

Doesn't at all.  The World Cup generally isn't the place to pick your players but admittedly Cavani has been disappointing.

I agree. Just expected him to have much more of an impact is all.

      Cavani is severely overrated.

His work-rate is virtually zero so he doesn't close down properly. He makes no interceptions, is generally quite ball greedy and fires his shots into defenders more often than not.

His finishing is also lacking this World Cup, don't know what that's about.

If Colombia beat Brazil, I would back them to go all the way and win the whole thing.

Watching a verbal fight between an Uruguayan angry about being called maricón in a Colombian song and a group of Colombians :D
I wouldn't since Germany and Holland look impressive.

Will be putting money on Colombia knocking Brazil out in the next round. Brazil set to be punished for not being up to the standard they should be.

Colombia look almost faultless. I would certainly put a bet on them if they beat Brazil. Colombia v Germany final?

I really get Uruguay. I used to dislike their style but for a country of 3-4 million, they really are tough to beat. They don't give an inch.

Football is such a cruel game sometimes. Brazil-Chile was a tremendous match and neither side deserved to go out at this stage. Shame it had to be Chile on the back of hitting the post. Twice.

Colombia-Uruguay was no contest with James Rodriguez being in such scintillating form. What a talent, plus the first goal was siiiiiick. Reminded me a slight bit of Maxi Rodriguez's goal against Mexico in 2006.

Good goal from James, seems to have done better since people stopped calling him "ham-es"

Had $5 bucks in the account a couple of days before the Columbia game, so whacked it on them to win the whole tournie @ 21's. Here's hoping.  ;D

I don't think Holland look that impressive. They're a good counter attacking team but I think a better team will hurt them.

He's amazing. Wouldn't mind this guy in the right side of our attack!

Not everyone. Fair few people here call him James like we'd say it in English, other people call him more like Ha-mees.

      Viva Mexico!

Mexico and Colombia are my teams now given I've lived in them both for a fair bit.

Really? Didn't know that. There were many Colombians in the stadium and they sang his name as "Ha-mees". I think that's how he says his own name himself?

Mexico much better than Holland, especially in the 1st half. I didn't expect Holland to go out so early but it's not entirely surprising... the Dutch are a good counter attacking team but have their limitations, whereas Mexico have played very well so far in all games.

Yea it's weird. Or maybe I just know weird people here (living in Bogota).

Sneijder equalizes! I feel sorry for Mexico, they were the better team in my eyes and I can only imagine how hard to take that goal might have been for their fans. They were so close from history! Now I'm hoping for penalties, the best thing for a neutral.
