Suarez had his own issues and it reflected poorly, but he gave his all playing for Liverpool and the man cried on the pitch after the Palace match because he felt he let his club, supporters and especially his captain, Gerrard down. He pulled up his shirt to cover his face because he was sobbing.

I disagree with what you say about Cavani - but regarding that moment: it is why I cannot dislike Suarez, despite all he has done. It was as close to a tragically beautiful moment as you can get in football.
