Anyway Rodgers has evidently made up his mind on Reina there's no way back for him. I think it's a shame and clearly not based on ability as he is twice the keeper Brad Jones will ever be

I think it's wrong, if we are to ship him out, do it. Don't bring him out on a tour and not play him. Same with Borini.

Professional performance against an absolutely shocking Milan side.

Highlights have to be Mig taking up a higher position looking to improve a vital part of his game and some nice saves. Ibe, who was clearly best player while he was on and Henderson who looked really good. Joe Allen, after a dire game last time had one of his better games for us, plus Sakho who was excellent when he came on.

Negatives have to be our wing-backs again and Lambert who looked well off the pace.

Into the final, bring on the scum!

Quick summary of the game for me.

Ibe, brilliant strong on the ball, quick on the turn and terrified their defenders.

Henderson, his energy was needed, made some great passes and always looked to carry on his run in behind the opposition defense.

Coates, looked composed on the ball and strong when defending.

Caan & Sakho although only being on for 20+ minutes they both made a difference in my eyes, Caan was strong as ever and linked up play well and as Henderson always looked to be on the move and get forward. Sakho provided width from center back and played positive forward passes in attempt to get our attack going, what i liked about Sakho was that if even if the ball was on his right foot he attempted to play the pass and pulled it off.

And quick mention to Suso for the well taken goal after a slick run and too Mignolet for his presence higher up the pitch and attempting to distribute the ball more effectively and that superb save at the end.
