Lfc fans are out in force over there apparently, keep on being amazed by that, no matter where we play it seems.

at what point are we going to start playing something close to our starting XI, from the start?

because if we don't win this game, it means we'll only have ONE more friendly, against Dortmund, before the start of the season.

Despite Allen's poor performances in preseason, he still starts. I don't understand why Suso or even Coady aren't given the opportunity to show what they are capable in midfield.

Is Coates pushing for a place does anyone think or is he just getting a run in pre season?

He looks good to me, manager is saying good things about him, picking him out almost.
Not sure what to make of that.

To be honest I think theres a good player there. Games needed to improve confidence. But it has caught my eye that hes getting game time. Ok Lovern is at home and Agger injured so that helps but still good to see him get game time

I could have sworn we were told by Rodgers that if the players are good enough, they'll play.

actually it's not entirely true because Pepe is more than good enough but he is stuck folding towels.

anyway Coates has looked fantastic so far this pre-season---what is the purpose of sending players out on loan if you're not going to consider that they may have improved while they were out?

if his improvement is real and not just some flash in the pan then I would love to see him stay this season.

Always quite liked the left sided attacker for Milan El Shaaraway. Started the season well for them but apparently faded as the year went on, there was rumours we were in for him last year at times and might be worth keeping an eye on.

Olympiakos beating City on penalties mean Liverpool are through already.
