We don't sell to the scum?

Another mindset purely dictated by emotions. Why can we not sell to the scum? It's not like it's Sterling or Sturridge who we're are selling. It'd be illogical to not sell Allen to United because we simply do not like them. If the transfer was to benefit us, wouldn't then selling to them be the logical choice?

F**k the rivalry, we'd be mugging them off with £20m coming our way for Joe Allen. It's never going to happen though. Bullshit rumours!

The simple logic I would follow is: If Utd want to buy any of our players, that shows a need. Why would we satisfy any 'need' for Utd?

It is never going to happen, but my view is that we do whatever is best for LFC and F**k the mancs. If it is better for Liverpool to sell Allen to the mancs... sell him. Certainly there would have to be a premium on what we could get for him elsewhere even then.

I would only sell any player if the player being brought in was much better. I think the days of wash, mix and match players of very similar ability should be behind us now that the squad is of a reasonable size.

All about quality now in my opinion.

Its called history and it has as much to do with the city as it does with the club. Have some respect for those of us who actually understand why the hatred is so deep.

This needs to be locked up. Liverpool will be ofloading Lucas and Borini before even thinking about upgrading Allen. Liverpool would never sell Allen to United. I doubt Allen would want to give up on the first chance he gets of playing Real Madrid in the Champions league at Bernabeu and Anfield.

Do you understand anything of the history of this club WE DONT SELL TO THE SCUM.f**k balance dear god what the f**k is going on.
If it would make us better by a greater margin relative to them, than not selling, it would be stupid not to. I don't believe this transfer meets that criteria, but say for arguments sake it did, we would be making them worse, relative to us. Seems good to me.
