Have to give a big mention to Phil Dowd..

My how poor he was!! Shocking!

He didn't give the penalty, he missed so many fouls, he gave Spurs basically everything he could.

Big thanks to the linesman who did his job properly!!

      How good are Spurs fans.

Harry Kane is a F***ing knob dropping like a shot horse every touch and we're the cheating cu*ts :D

      And this gem:

"How can Brendan take any credit when taking Markovic, Gerrard and Sturridge off, ludicrous moves at any level, as I have said before he has had 3 years with his side, Poch hasnt - and we add 3 faces in summer and remove 6 for good and we'll take those cu*ts to the cleaners, rub Rodgers face in the horseshit he produces."

He knows who scored the winner right? :lmao:

1)Can - Barnstorming game in two positions.
2)Ibe - Fearless first half performance.
3)Mignolet - A couple of fantastic saves late on.

I now know why Bayern were so keen to try and get Emre Can back. £10m - our best signing of the summer IMO

He's looking like an absolute steal at 10m isn't he? Wait till Lovren gets into form and Can moves into DM role, we'll see the best of him then.

Who do you pick? Can or Ibe?

I have to go with Emre. He is one blessed young man. Built like a tank, looks like a god and plays like a f**king machine.

      Ibe 1st half Emre 2nd

Listening on the radio, sounded a real hard fought victory. Good to have Mario on the score sheet, with the winner!

I've mentioned earlier during the game but I thought he had a good first half but piss poor second half. His fitness is clearly lacking as after approx. the 50th minute he couldn't get in a good enough position to make correct calls (Dier fouling Sturridge in the box, the foul by Gerrard against Eriksen?, fouls given against Coutinho etc.)

That game was the best I've watched ALL season, no Stering, no Suarez, a tired Gerrard and a returning Sturrudge BEATING an inform Spurs side, we have the makings of  a GREAT side WITHOUT further signings.

That was a massive 3 points. Great resilience and bounce-back-ability.

Unusual for us.... Great sign the team is growing together.

With Gerrard picking up that slight hamstring injury I predict we'll see that happen against Palace at the weekend.

The shocking thing is the Gerrard one he had right on front of him. Same with Coutinho. They were clear as day and he couldn't pick them. Not to mention the stonewall pen he nodded away only to be saved by his touchline ref.

And that decision to award a corner when Danny Rose pressed Hendo in the corner which clearly came off Rose last.

      Dowd is a tw*t.

I'll tell you that was utterly f**king superb. One of the most high quality matches I've ever seen us involved in. Credit to Tottenham as well for their contribution to a great match - I was thinking constantly throughout that match 'this is as good a Tottenham team as I've ever seen'. So to beat them and their excellence tonight (genuinely) with not a bad performance on the pitch is supreme sweetness of the most beautiful kind!

I love it when a plan comes together and no doubt Brendan was thinking just that. That was genius management from him tonight, selecting and timing his subs to utter perfection. Deserves to be serenaded home tonight for his management tonight. A f**king fantastic manager who we are very lucky to have.

      Amen.

Liva 3rd and Spuds 4th would make me a VERY Happy camper this season.

I don't usually bother looking at other forums but couldn't help myself on this occasion.

This was my personal favourite of the posts I read "F**k this, f**k everything. I just knew we were gonna f**k this up, so many people here were over-confident before this, but it was just f**king obvious we would Spurs this up like we always do. We got the exact same result when we went there 2 seasons ago after a big NLD win, and it was an infuriatingly cunty game then too. I hate that shithole of a club so much and having to watch us lose to them so many times in a row is f**king maddening. "

We need to strengthen our squad, it was inevitable that we would be tired and lose concentration after such a big game just 3 days ago, we needed to rotate but the options just aren't there. We have to deal with the weakness at LB, but that's just one of many glaring holes in the squad.

      Hate this sh*t so much.

Everyone saying it was fabulous football - really? So many errors by both teams in all areas of the pitch. I think they misplaced about 10 passes in midfield straight to us with no pressure on them, we cocked up about 6 or 7 chances in the final third and Sakho's rugby tackle summed his game up.

It was entertaining but for some wrong reasons.
