Good performances throughout. Skrtel, Lovren, Henderson and Lallana all good. Coutinho and Allen were both outstanding today.

Haven't seen the game yet.  Looking forward to watching it.  Great result. 

Fingers crossed we beat Burnley and someone above us slips up midweek so that we can maybe get ourselves into the top four this week.

United away at Newcastle seems an interesting game. Arsenal are up against QPR so can't see them dropping points.

While Coutinho was brilliant again, and Hendo and Lallana had great games too, I've actually gone for Allen as MOM. He was excellent today (carried on from a good game on Thursday too) and I think the balance he gave us was the platform that allowed Jordan, Philippe, and Adam the freedom to get on the ball and carve out attacking chances. I'll hold my hands up and admit that I was just slagging the lad off earlier in the week, then he goes and puts in 2 very good performances and shut me up.... Well in Joey!!

Honestly, I thought everyone played well. No passengers in the side today.... Everyone was working hard for the good of the team and we simply overwhelmed them with our energy, movement, and slick passing. Great game lads!!

Agree mate, but the team deserves it not just one individual, that was one hell of a team performance.

I went for Henderson as MOTM although coutinho allen lallana etc pushed him close.

Excellent performance today. I especially enjoyed the last 10 minutes. We did not sit back deep and let them throw everything at us. We kept pressing them, harrying them into mistakes and could have scored more goals.

With Ibe, Gerrard, Lucas and Sahko to to come back we can add some depth for the run-in.

Kudos to the gaffer today ... he got it spot on. And the lads did us proud. Fantastic performance.

I gave the motm to Allen , he sorted David Silva and kept him quiet all game . so fair play to Joe lets hope he builds on it now and continues on the same road .

Fantastic stuff and boy we have scored some wonder goals lately, wow. And Brendan´s got one over Pellegrini, delighted. Silva, again showing some classy touches looked a bit tired and frustrated to me, thought Tuesday may have taken a toll as he didnt get those critical moments right today. Rested in mid-week Coutinho on the other hand was the difference, and recharged Henderson was everywhere. Add Markovič and Lallana and its no surprise we had more energy and pace overall. Superb planning from Rodgers. Think City were better than theyll get credit for just lacked that bit of sparkle after the break, with some of their players utterly exhausted (Nasri for starters). 2nd place finish very much on, keep it rolling redmen.

Personally I would of preferred to have won both games,  not to detract from beating City though.
