Sturridge would get my vote, think he would bury 9 out of 10, if Balo stays and he starts regularly you can't go far wrong.

Coutinho is the man for free kicks, for shooting at least.

Lets just hope that his last one isn't anything to go by.

Hendo will be penalty taker next season, think that became apparent with the whole thing with Balo taking it when Hendo was "meant" to be or whatever was going on.

As long as whoever takes it, scores it, I don't care who takes them.

I'd give it to Mario if the lad gets a fair crack next season.

      Thats the Plan Shabs .

      Cracked it mate.

      They can justify keeping him.

      Of course. Silly me.

if he is on the pitch Mario all day long he's the best in the team, if he's not then milner or henderson but i think we lack a solid pen taker as Lambert will probably go this summer and unless we buy a striker who is brave enough to take pens we wont have a pen taker there.

its not an issue and i dont see why every player from 12 yards with a dead ball cant at least hit the target!

Mario is quality at penners, if we could just keep him for that. ;D

just to get his already questionable goals-to-game ratio up? F**k Mario... dont let him near them!!

If either of Balotelli or Lambert stays and plays, definitely them. I can't see either staying though, so I'd go with Coutinho. I remember he knocked one in a couple of years ago at Preston, just rolled it in the corner with ridiculous ease.

I know it'd be a different pressure in competitive games but if he makes it look as easy as he does the rest of his game, he'd be a great penalty taker.

On free kicks, I'd probably go with Phil again.

Don't discount Milner, he has had some wicked free kicks in the past.
