Who here is in school/college/university?

Thanks guys. Today was a celebration but we were all so sad. Tears were shed everywhere but plenty of photos and memories.

The whole routine thing, no more classes, the atmosphere of a school. Gone. Ofcourse i'll see alot of mates out of Uni but there's some people who i didn't talk to daily but were friends which i wont see which is getting to me. Just gutted about the whole thing

I know i'll be over it soon but i get to party as a school student for the second last time tonight!

F***ing enjoy the party mate! I had to go back to the farm to work and didnt get to go to the party, so make the most of it!

I was quite sad too, even though I wasn't the one graduating. I was part of the student council, so we were standing in the middle of the hall in blazers, and awards were dished out, at the end of it all, the seniors started all started to stand up and walk past the small aisle we've created. It was that final walk out of the hall, their final moment being recognised.

Them walking past was a sad moment, seniors that I knew came to shake my hands, or hug me. Even some random people that I didn't know, they did it so warm and friendly. The school has seen them out, the bells are rung, they have marked closure to their secondary school days.

Now, they take a 3 week leave from school before being back for their leaving exams. After that, they'll not be back until next year - to collect their results.

Starting to realise that I'm going to have to do quite a few presentations this year it seems.

Shitting it. At least they are done in groups, but still. Shitting it.

I struggled with it also through uni mate, you will be right once you get started all the nerves just tingle away. The main thing is always ensuring you are well prepared and have a contingency plan in case things F**k up.

Woke up, bitched to myself about the horribleness of early classes, showered, had a coffee, then checked my email. And this.

Well, back to bed for an hour and a half kip then off to me other class then

I miss Uni big time. As Gow said, moving away is fundamental to it all. I went to a univerity 30 miles from home, but it was liberating and plus i could nip home now and again for cooked dinners!!!! I cant believe its been 3 years since I graduated and im still only 24!

Im in John Moores University in Liverpool! Doing Forensic Science and Psychology!

I'm having the time of my life, and have been drunk since August! If I can handle the work then it's worth it, as I've met loads of new people and learned some things too!

Wow CRK, that's great! Actually its now I'm reading the posts in here  . Could you tell how you find Forensic Psychology? I mean what is it all about, job prospects etc? Done my B.Sc in Psych and want to specialize in Child Psychology or dealing with people with special needs (disabilities etc) but I believe forensic Psych might be real interesting (Sherlock Holmes or James Bond)??!  :

Cold ass day at college today, winter really is hitting Oregon now. My Aussie skin aint liking it at all either

History classes are going really well, love that stuff. It is US history so of course when we talk of WW1 and such its all about the US, but it is good seeing it from their side of things since they play a big part in all conflicts.
