Which players do you think are curled up in the foetal position now Brendan has been sacked?

      For me I'd say

      Allen
      Mignolet
      Lovren
      Lallana

Possibly add Benteke & Origi to that.

+ Sakho , Skrtel and Enrique

What planet are you on Skip?

Sakho will be a fixture in any new guys plans and I'd bet Lazar will be back from loan and Moreno will feature heavily as well.

Did you see the Blueshite goal when the cross came in.
What about the last game's goals? Where was Sakho ?

I saw it...Sakho was marking a man and Naismith made a run behind Lucas who was marking no one.

Two players I simply cannot see having a future with us beyond next Summer are Mignolet and Lovren. Other than that, it's anyone's guess because all of these players are now playing for their futures at the club.

He doesn't turn up in big games. In fact, beyond Sturridge, none of our players do. We're full of 7/10 players, lacking any real star dust in the team. That's what needs to change over the next two windows.

Our squad is like a solid good album from a band, but lacking those hit singles to make it great.

Not so sure Lovren will be (immediately) on the chop.  He grew up in Germany and speaks it fluently.  He also speaks Croatian which is essentially the same language as Bosnian (they all just decided to call themselves individual languages after Yugoslavia broke up), and Klopp's assistant is Bosnian.  So Lovren might have that language connection with both of them.  I think Klopp might give him a chance.

I don't even know what we're going to do about Mignolet.  We all know he's not good enough but top keepers are at a premium.  Cech was the one we should've gone after.  He's off the table now.  What top keeper will realistically be available in January or even next summer?  Lloris is the only one I can think of but he would probably see moving to us as lateral.

I agree with most of the names that keep repeated in this thread, without lallana.
I'd like to keep him, still think he is a talented player who will become good.

A new manager comes in and says "everyone will get a chance" and they probably will.

However as this thread (it appears) is only really asking who we would get rid of...

      Right off -
      Allen
      Moreno
      Mignolet
      Lovren
      Milner

      Others would follow through time.

The only players (for me) who are totally "safe" - Sturridge, Coutinho, Firmino & Henderson.

There are a few who will and should be a bit more frightened than Adam '10 Touch' Lallana.

People seem to forget that Lovren was doing good defending things before he signed for a manager who didn't know what to do with the defending things.

I'd chop Milner from being vice captain though and pass it straight to Sakho. There's probably a case for him having it outright but vice will do for now.

Find it hard to list who will get the chop. Who knows how the obvious targets will do with a clean slate and different working environment.

      Who will Reus replace?
