Well, can Jürgen get this bunch of players to step over the line, to give that bit more? They just couldn't do it against City in the final and am wondering if they have it in them to cross that mental barrier. One things for sure though, if anyone can get them to the final then Jürgen can, however, I just think we come up that bit short (it's not a massive leap but it's there) so can see disappointment tonight but I hope to God I am wrong!! So excited about the future whatever happens. 

I can't believe I'm reading this after we just go through to the Final and to top it off someone pluses you. Have some F***ing  faith, man!

Klopp debut season: - League Cup final & Europa League final.

It's not even 'his' squad yet.

Special special performance tonight. Jürgen should take huge credit for that. From first to last we looked confident and willing to put everything on the line to win.

Compare that to Citeh's performance yesterday. Chalk and cheese.   

I seem to recall another European manager, twice champion of his country, losing a League Cup final in his first season at the club and then getting to an European final...

That season ended pretty well!

how has he done this its quite simply stunning. these players looked  crestfallen back in October and they have blown hot and cold but tonight the lads were RED hot no other team would have lived with us tonight

Truly an incredible turn around Walt. When you consider the circumstances that he's managed this under too it is absolutely stunning.

It was suggested a few months ago how this season had eerie connections to Rafa's first and you can't escape it but the styles really couldn't be further apart. I loved Rafa but if I'm honest this is the football that I love to watch us play. That's in no way knocking what Rafa did just a personal preference of how I enjoy football and Jürgen's style brings a smile to my face through the sheer exhilaration and entertainment.

I couldn't possibly more hopeful looking forward, to be honest I couldn't since the moment we signed him. Said then that he was the best signing since Suarez and in my opinion a more important one and even I didn't expect a European Final in his first season.

What an achievement Jürgen, now go and win it!

there is little to critique tonight it was almost a perfect performance and the result was in fact perfect. I just love European finals I saw the first Uefa cup final when it was a two legged affair . We are so lucky and now we have another night just a few weeks away to look forward to

For me the best thing about tonight was it rekindled my love of the game again. Since the Hillsborough enquiry result I've seriously considered giving up on football once and for all as an obsession. I honestly could barely get up even for this game all week, but told myself I had to watch it just to give the lads a chance to get me back on board with football as a whole. I had loads of Chelsea and Tottenham fans in on Monday and as I was dealing with the c***s in the aftermath I think my love of the game, the "banter" and the debate was at an all time low ebb.

The lads in red though and Jürgen did me proud tonight, me and my lad were as into it as we were against Dortmund and I feel like I'm back in the fold again.
