Not building any hopes of No 19 just yet. Been too many false dawns before. Been in this situation so many times in the past, and we never took advantage.
Have  to say I'm a bit more confident with Jürgen at the helm, a lot more in fact, but the palace result haunts me, and although our away form is the strongest at the mo, Bar codes could put in a belter and turn it all tits up again.
Confident of a comfortable win if it all goes to form, but how often does that come back and bite you in the arse.
As long as there are no monumental cock ups, and we play to our strengths, and concentrate on our formation at the back when the geordies have the ball, we'll do them 0 - 3. Posted his score before, and I'm sticking with it.
Just rabbiting on now, but get so excited before games now, I have to keep coming on here, in case I miss something.   :) Gonna need to get a stream for tomorrow.

Mignolet, Clyne, Skrtel, Lovren, Moreno, Milner, Lucas, Allen, Coutinho, Firmino, Benteke.

Sturridge and Henderson to come off the bench and Can and Lallana given a rest.

Happy with a win not too worried about scoring 5 or 6, 3 points is all that matters.

Think Lallana is in for Couts. Looks like no chances being taken on his hammy.

      And rightly so.

We have more than enough quality to put the Geordies away without our little magician so no point in risking.

Lallana should be on the bench considering Ibe's form. Sturridge would get the nod ahead of Benteke for me. If Coutinho was fit I don't think it would make an ounce of difference on the strength of our first 11, so much talent now...

                                                                          Sturridge
                                                              Ibe        Firmino      Origi
                                                                      Milner Lucas
                                                               Clyne Skrtel Lovren Moreno
                                                                          Mignolet

      Maybe this would be alright?

Don't care what the score anymore, just get a win, that's all that is needed. We need to keep up the momentum. We have quite a few young lads in our squad and Klopp has to make sure they aren't cocky and respect the opponent and yet don't give them an inch extra of the turf.

Looking forward to the game tomorrow. Great to be in contact with so many other Reds on this forum.
I know there are other clubs with a fan base but ours is different, its more like a mass movement, dare I say a religion!

Got a sneaky feeling our time may have come. Long time waiting.

On paper, we should win, on form we should win, but we all know it doesn't work like that, look at the Palace game for example. Each match is different and anything can happen no  matter the opposition. From silly mistakes, red cards to the officials having a bad day. I feel really nervous about this game for some reason :(

               Mignolet
      Clyne  Skrtel  Lovren  Moreno
                Lucas
          Milner  Henderson
      Firmino  Sturridge Coutinho

Sub: Bodgan, Ibe, Toure, Benteke, Lallana, Smith, Origi.

Going for 3-0 with this formation.

Lallana in for Coutinho... Since he's likely not to be in the match day squad. Tex on the bench.

Said quite a few games that I wouldn't judge our result against them too highly if we managed to beat them as they're simply sh*te this season. They need to be discounted from our 'rivals' right now, they're completely fu**ed.

It's a joy to watch but yet another indication of how poor this league is this year, any more weekends like this one and I'll start believing we can win the league. I'm struggling to believe how sh*te everyone is. Arsenal and City I thought were away and gone but with Arsenal's injuries and City's both progress in the CL and poor form I might just start believing soon!

You mean you don't believe already Luke,  tut tut, your standards are slipping mate,  so unlike you, re Jürgen's quote........

....." We need to change from Doubters to Believers "

Like you said the likes of Citeh,  Arse,  are not over the hill and far away,  Chavs are sh*te,  scum trundling, , Leicester won't stay top for long, Spuds while decent won't sustain form,....

We on the other hand are rolling along very nicely,  we need to up our home form for sure, but we have momentum,  confidence,  a passion to win, a winning mentality and a tactical genius pulling the strings,  all the ingredients to suggest we are more than just a top 4 contender,

Six pts off top who we play twice, with the so called rivals yet to visit Anfield, ?

Mate, I've flushing the viagra down the bog,  the way we're playing I won't need it   :D

                                                                          Mignolet

      Maybe this would be alright?

Why have you put Sturridge in goal and Mignolet up front? Plus you are playing the Rodgers old system of 3 at the back 4 behind Mognolet.  :angry-smiley-034: I am not sure we need to go back to that system for the barcodes - we should play 4 at the back as usual. Also, I am not too sure of Lovren getting a goal for us - yes Skrtel and Moreno are on form.

Think Newcastle might try and up their game, especially against the Reds, but surely on present form we should bag all three points. I would like to see both Sturridge & Benteke play together tbh. Although their are quite a few options for Klopp to choose from at present.
