Yea he's also prone to bouts of terrorism when he's not playing well also....we at least know Danny isn't going to go chompers on someone ;D

Behave yourself mate, comparing what the two of them do off the ball is night and day.

Suarez scores or sets up goals when he is having an off game. Sturridge is good on form but when he is not he is no better than Benteke.

      :lmao: Hahahahaha brilliant.

Klopp played a blinder already. Everyone is talking about him and no one talking about the players. No pressure on our boys at all.

Dortmund have lost only once at home since July according to this plank on BT. Unreal if true.

Bein Sports have a better stat.

Jürgen had 7 wins and 2 draws from 10 matches vs Thomas Tuchel.

No because Suarez offers so much more when he isn't scoring. He does continue to run and sprint for 90 minutes and doesn't let his head drop, there's a world of difference between the two when they aren't scoring.
You have misinterpreted my point. Maybe I should have put it more simply for the simple minded ;D.  In the biggest games you play your best players. Sturridge form or not is still our best forward and our biggest threat to score. I like Origi and hope he plays well because it means we should get a result. But if I were a betting man, I'd be putting my money on Sturridge to be more likely to score.  But I don't see what Klopp sees, so I'd assume he has a good reason for sitting him.

If I had 1 grand I would put it on 0:0. We will frustrate them. We foul them. We time waste. Tactical masterpiece. Dark art of football. We cant play open game with these. Klopp knows that. Starting lineup sugest that. Commeon the Pool!!! 0:0

Despite what people try to say in Sturridge's thread it's clear he either isn't applying himself fully (FL's theory) or he is indeed feeling a little sorry for himself out there. The fall out from this will be huge, there's no way I see Sturridge accepting being stuck on the bench for the biggest game of our season despite it clearly having logic, I think it's the final nail in the coffin of Studge leaving but that's for another time.

Sure thing. Sturridge is finished. Clearly benched because Klopp has had enough with him... along with Firmino.  :f_whistle:

      No need.

He simply hasn't looked our biggest threat to score in recent months.  I think Firmino not being 100% is a bigger blow at the current moment in time.  Hopefully Sturridge will have a point to prove if he gets on.

No, incorrect he's recovering from injury. Trolls everywhere these days and it's getting tiresome.

think the reason for going with origi rather then stu on top is that the boss wants to defemd from the top, he wants a striker who is going to run his ass off and work for the team. stu is better finisher but origi offers more hardwork.

wouldnt overthink this one, we are playing a very tough team away, so i agree with the boss on this one.

If Suarez had been having a lackluster spell, would any of us have him on the bench in a big game? I doubt it.

I'd give Daniel the same benefit of the doubt...he may not be on top form, but he could find that form at any minute.

It is what it is, Klopp knows better than me.

Suarez would still have offered tenacity and work rate and fitness and mobility. Studge doesn't look quite up that at the moment. He's a shoe in to start the second leg I suspect but away from when you k ow your going to be under the cosh I know who I would rather have in there.

Agree with this. Big game, best players. Also, think Origi is a better option off the bench than Studge.

But don't want to labour it, it's a closer call than usual given Sturridge's recent form.   Tic toc....
