Just been looking at some first team app. stats for Ojo...

      12 games, 552 minutes, 2 goals, 6 assists.

That's pretty good for an 18 year old who is only just starting to make first team appearances. Let's just say he puts Ibe to shame.

Just imagine, if he was a United player, Martin Tyler would be rippin' the heid aff it.

Just looking at the way Pedro and obviously Hazard attacked compared to our one paced attack of Lallana, Coutinho and Firmino - we really lack pace and dynamism to hurt the opposition.

Hate to say it but Raheem would have been that X factor for us under Klopp, hopefully Ojo can kick on.

You've been banging on about how he needs to play and now you're saying Lucas is sh*te, what kind of planet are you on?

I see the WUM's been banned. Result...

No surprise then that Jürgen has been looking at pacey wingers for this forthcoming transfer window. Guardian says he wants the young lad (but hot prospect) Dembele in France.

We definitely lack a bit of pace, not holding my breath that Markovic will be the answer, so hoping we bring someone in or Ojo comes through.

No doubt mate :D Something tells me he'll start to be the name on every pundit's lips next season if he gets himself some regular game time.

He's not a winger which will obviously have PastorGreek crying into his sleep.

Ah okay, what position(s) does he play? As for the hype about getting a winger, I wouldn't be surprised if Chris Brunt was raved about on here by some....

MOTM - ofc kolo gets my vote... this guy is becoming a bit of a hero.

even when he's scoring own goals and blaming the ground i.e fulham or was it west brom? it's hard to to love this guy!

I have had only two chances in my life to see the reds in person, both at Fenway Park. Two memories burn brighter than the rest: a Francesco Totti free kick, and Kolo Toure pushing aside security guards to get in a final few handshakes with fans.

It makes me happy to see a gent like that in our team, and playing well.

The guy is a cult hero. Everyone loves him. But take away the personality and all that, and you've still got a brilliant defender who, at 35, uses his experience and intelligence to read the game brilliantly.

      Class act he really is.

That's why he got my MOTM vote. We really need to get over this obsession with age. Kolo still has another season to offer as a squad player.

Sorry your right he would be described as a winger in that he is quick has great dribbling skills for a youngster albeit in a inferior league but he can play across the front line.

Apparently these Stormtroopers were on the pitch before the match dancing to Gangam Style.

      Seems normal.

There are quite a lot of younger, better paid players at Liverpool who have a lot more bad games than Kolo does.

I agree.  I'd keep him for another year.  I'm assuming that with Gomez returning and Matip coming in it looked like his chances would be a lot less limited next year - but then we have now got the Sakho issue and big question marks over Skrtel.

Yeah they were on at half time.  They were off Britain's Got Talent or something like that.  Not sure what the connection was with us though.

Didn't fancy his chances much Rodders :D

I'm not sure Joe fancied them much either, a simple rush of blood.

With Matip coming in Gomez coming back, its great to have a guy like Kolo in the squad that not supposedly beloved by the guys but also a great mentor, somebody who has won the league and calming voice to the youngsters.
