Apart from England, where else is good to live?
      Nov 06, 2007 06:47:49 pm
I'm talking about places where they talk English, and I'm talking about decent places.

When I'm a bit older I wouldn't mind experiencing some other countries where they talk English like Canada, Australia, USA but there are plenty of country's where they have English speakers.

      New York? Hmm

      California? Nice weather apparently

Australia? Don't know anything about that place

Canada? Too cold, well thats what I heard anyway...

So have any of you been to these countries? If yes can you tell me if it's better than England or not.

I've only to been to one part of America (California) so can't really comment on that place - although I

      a) like the size of their portions
      b) like the size of some of the women's portions (thanks to the thriving surgical system)
      c) like the weather
      d) like the freedom of driving an enormously sized car without feeling guilty
      e) cheap gadgets

America's great.  I'm from the southeast and really don't want to live anywhere other than the southeast.  Our weather is great.  It's not too hot in the summer, and never really gets too cold in the winter.  We get some snow occasionally, doesn't rain all of the time like the northwest, and it's just nice.  It's November 6 and it's the coldest day so far and the high is around 54 or so, and I'm in the mountains.  I love Virginia, NC, SC, and Georgia simply because you get the mountains and the beach within a few hours of each other.

Oh yea, JD, if you liked the food out there, come to the south sometime.  You can't go into someone's house without their mom offering you something to eat or something to drink.

Most places in the world talk English when there taking money off you. ;D

I have been lucky, seen most of the world, with work and holls.
A lot of the world are great, some say even beautiful, lots and lots of places to visit,
even Wales and Scotland have some good points, not many ( sorry Nicola ;D ),
but the point is, there great to visit for a week or two, but thats all.

Its your family and friends is what makes your home, so home is where you heart is.

I already live in one of the great city's in the world, so here i will stay ( but still go on lots of holls ).

Liverpool is already Gods county, we have two Cathedrals,to prove it, not many city's in the world can say that,
so someone up there likes us. ;D.

Couldn't agree with you more there Graham mate. It's your family and friends that makes your home. And I love living in Liverpool.

I wouldn't mind living in Spain for a bit though. Nice laid back culture down south....

I've been to Perth twice, and would love to live there! ;D ME Uncle lives in Mindary Keys so I'd have somewhere to go! ;)

Everywhere I've been has been amazing! I'd live in Malta, as the style of life is so laid back! ;) Plus me other Uncle lives there so there's some more family link!

Tenerife! An island where I'd buy a bar and just show Liverpool games all day and night! ;D Get a lot of business hehe!

Shanty towns, gang violence and police shooting people dead on the street?   Excellent - I'll grab my passport.

And which two clowns voted for Britain? I want their names.
