Yep, I thought Matip and Klaven did well to deal with the vacuum in front of them. Well done lads.

Right lads - when was the last time we did the Premier League double over Arsenal? Because I certainly can't remember. We're talking two decades at least aren't we?

I'm talking future starting lineups, and I mean as a Striker. Fine, Firmino can take Coutinho's place... but I don't want to see Firmino playing as Striker with Origi on the bench in those other games like Burnley.

I have no problem with Firmino starting or Origi starting, but they both offer something different but Bobby offers more to the team as a whole.

Coutinho is struggling but he has always done this throughout his career. There's nt been 1 season where he has been consistently great.

He is however bound to win us some games before the season is out.

Today Firmino did really well, Mane was brilliant and Lallana put in a virtuoso display.

On a side note Klavan I thought today was really good. There is no reason now to see Lucas at CB ever again barring a total crisis.

Just saw the running order for MOTD.

      Liverpool up first.

But shock horror, Utd shown as the 5th match out of the 7 games.. despite having a 1-1 result. So, considered bigger than Crystal Palace v West Brom (2-0) and Stoke v Middlesbrough (2-0)..

Voted Lallana MOTM which was probably the most difficult MOTM decision I've made this season, because whilst Mane was a persistent threat, Lallana's range of passing, pressing and all round game play was quite simply a master class.

Absolutely. He's not good enough to be a talisman and he's far from world class. He has great moments but he isn't a great player. Form at the moment does not justify a starting place. I'd certainly be looking to Origi personally.

I find it quite remarkable  time and time again you can do it against the big boys and have a tremendous record against the top 6/7 sides. What the F**k goes wrong with you lot against the minows??

Yeah, no reason to lose to Burnley. Even with Lucas as CB ;) Has to be a 3 pts guarantee that at Anfield.

I thought Klavan was at his limit today, the best you'll get out of him. If Gomez isn't going to make the step up, I want another CB in, with Matip/Lovren being third choice.

We look fantastic against excellent sides. Even in pre season we thrashed Barcelona with Messi and Suarez at Wembley. I just don't get it.

To be honest, considering the talking points in that game, I'm surprised it isn't higher.

Manc favouritism, yet again - although I'm pretty sure the talking point of Zlatan putting his head under Ming's boot, elbowing him on purpose and throwing him on the ground, (all of which will somehow be passed off as a master footballer using his experience and a young lad losing his temper) will get the tedious pundits a few minutes of airtime while I and the rest of humantity switch over to the boxing...

      It's quite simple really.

Klopp has one style of playing football and one style only which is only suited to playing teams who attack.

This allows us to win the ball back quickly and transition to attack in the exploited space in the oppositions half.

When we come up against teams who park the bus and play on the break after we have over committed we lose.

Klopp just hasnt figured out the solution to opening up stubborn defences.

      Yet.
