I hope the club asks the FA to clarify their statement that there was insufficient evidence to charge Bobby. The facts are, that no player from either side heard the word that Holgate said was used, the referee didnāt, the different camera angles showed nothing racist and the Portuguese lip readers confirmed that no racist language was used! So how can the FA decide there is insufficient evidence to charge, there is NO evidence, apart from Holgate who had just committed a violent act and should have seen red! Yet the FA can conclude that there was no malice on Holgates part and he spoke out in good faith, yet they decide that they didnāt have sufficient evidence to charge Firmino. One is a young English player, the other a young foreign player! I rest my case.
