      was a joke eh.

VAR ref and onfield ref clueless.

yesterday a Norwich player feigned a head injury when it hit his hand not his face and the REF stopped play a free kick and a booking should have occured but no nothing happened our Refs and VAR people are second rate at best.

A VAR can't give a yellow card, and that incident is not a VAR matter.

even the SKY ref would not have given a penalty

He probably wouldn't have given the penalty in Madrid either, even though it was clear as day.

Looking at the replays, I'm not saying it did hit his arm, but I can't prove that it didn't. VAR said the replays were inconclusive, so it goes back to what the ref gave on the field. Something more like the "umpires call" in cricket.

The fact it's taken until almost halfway through the season for this thread to become active, shows that even less errors have been made than the already very low number in the past two seasons.

Not a F***ing peep over Kane, but fast as F**k for the Robbo decision.

Pure F***ing bullshit again from those in charge of the b***ard system.

Christ don’t encourage him. It’s bad enough him posting how good he thinks VAR is but his excuses for an error are something else.

Absolute joke how this system is run.

Still the same incompetent people in charge of making decisions so it will never be effective.

Love to hear the resident VAR’s views on todays game.

It's not the wand, it's the magician.

VAR in itself is a valuable tool, but the people using it are often F***ing clueless. For the ref to go to VAR for Robbo and not Kane is disgraceful.

That’s what I’m getting at mate. How the people in charge use the system is a farce.

I always follow ref watch ( Monday sky sports 11.30am )  quite closely after the weekends matches and tomorrow’s will be very interesting. I can’t see Dermot Gallagher defending Kane’s tackle on Robertson as only a yellow. Was never a yellow and always a red. Lucky lucky man was Kane.

VAR has just highlighted how poor the refs are in this country. Before they had the excuse of maybe not having a clear view or only getting one look at it but what's the excuse now?

How two referees (one getting to view it as many times as they want) can watch that Kane tackle and think it's not red is astonishing really. Saying the Jota penalty incident wasn't a penalty because 'Jota was slowing down' was similarly baffling.

Until the referees are forced to be accountable for their decisions nothing will ever change. Tierney won't have to explain any of his decisions from today to anyone and will be back f**king over some other team on Boxing Day.

Klopp could do what fergie did and tell the fa he dosent want that buffoon of a ref anywhere near his players ,any other profession being as inept as that would get you dismissed , c**t should pulled in front of a disaplinary panel to explain his ineptitude.

Some of the decisions between him and David Coote against us in the last 2 seasons have been baffling.

As the saying goes, a good workman never blames his tools.

People are completely missing the point in blaming the technology and not the men behind it.

It's tantamount to blaming a plane crash on the design of the plane when you know it was being piloted by a dog.

We saw what happened last week with Lewis and today with Kane and Jota massive mistakes were made. The problem is these Governing bodies will not admit it when they or their servants in this case the REF get it wrong. Keita got elbowed and forearm smashed and when he complained he got a yellow how does a player not then react to that when his emotions are so high .
I cant remember many occasions in all our CL games referees being so poor and VAR is just another human making terrible mistakes even though the tech is there to help them.
Not a word from Tierney or they FA despite their official having a massive effect on the result of the game no wonder match fixing claims are often made.
