Our best xi will start today, regardless who played against Bournemouth. If anybody needs rotating it will be next game against Midtable United.

Please please please DON'T let Hendo anywhere near starting tonight,  he just isnt at the level we require against such opposition, sorry but its a fact,

I think Klopp will be cautious, initially, and if things are not going our way will become more adventurous by adding more creactivity, so i think he'll start thus....

For me this is how we should start, we can introduce Shaq, or Naby laters if things are not going to plan, Napoli are decent and will test us but i think we will have enough to get the job done,  stay solid at the back and we'll be fine, ideally we could do with being 1 or 2 up by the break, and then we can control the tempo and manage any assaults from them.

This Hendo drama shows up the midfield problems. If Hendo plays and we go out He'll take the rap.He can do no right for some people. I have always gave him qualified backing. I recognise that now that he has to justify his place, he has to do more. Quicker to pick out the flair players, give them a chance to make something from nothing.Be more of a playmaker rather than just hold the fort.

I have a mid of Hendo,Gini and Shaqiri. I love these big games, chance to beat the best in Europe. I have great confidence in Klopp and if we go out it won't affect my backing of Klopp.

Hope not, Lovren and VVD don't work well together. Lovren should play when VVD needs rest.

There are games that suit Henderson, The Everton derby, I believe the Utd fixture, and maybe even Games like West Ham,Spurs,Leicester and even City. But this I feel is not one of them. Napoli know that a 0-0, or 1-1 score line see's them through

Nah mate your wrong, look, Jordan Henderson is a good player, sometimes he's been brilliant,  and he HAS definitely improved under Jürgen,  but there's a limit to his talent, that limit stops when playing against players two levels above his capabilities usually in the CL,and moreso against top 4 sides in the EPL,

I like the lad, i think he carries himself well, is a great ambassador for the club and he is a top professional,  but, he's not of a standard to play in such important games like tonight,  he will be found out and we cannot afford to carry anyone tonight or have anyone not pulling their weight,  Simples!!

Two big games. Carlo with his Napoli mob. JoMo with his Mancheater mob. We're in good nick, up for the challenge.

Put the boot into Carlo or JoMo...tough call. I have a sneaking admiration for Carlo and his eyebrow. What a great life he has. Managing clubs all over the place. Won the European cup himself plus plenty more......so the boot goes into JoMo.

I think that Lovren plays very well with VVD, He also had a very good WC, and covers well on the right for TAA. OK he as made mistakes and had brain farts in the pass, but defenders are always going to make mistakes, even the very best defenders, and so far he seems to have taken care of the brain farts... But hey! we could see a CB paring of Matip,and Lovren before  the 3rd of January

Napoli are used to big hostile atmospheres so I don't think they'll be too phased by that.

But - last season when playing against City in the CL Henderson played when we won 3 nil and City are considerably above the level of Napoli

And if there is one person who will go out and give 100% and pulling his weight it will be Henderson

For me he is key for us - and whilst we need goals we also need to ensure we don’t concede - whilst the full backs are bombing on then someone will sit and cover - Henderson will be the one doing it

Henderson must not play together with Milner, it just never works, they cancel each other out. I'd be ok'ish with Henderson, Gini and Keita, but would prefer Fabinho for Henderson.

Apparently, Klopp has picked the 'wrong' starting eleven three games in a row. The doubters have all been proven wrong because we've won all three of them.

Henderson - Wijnaldum - Keita for me. In terms of balance/ability it's closest we have to the midfields that battered the likes of Porto, City, Roma, ... Last year.
