We really didn’t. Dominated large patches of the game but they were clinical. Salah scores and I would fancy our chances of a 2-0 at Anfield

From the start Gomez was imo; playing too narrow, and play poorly the whole game...Should have started TAA.

Injury to Keita... Should have bought on Firmino. Henderson and Milner just does not work well together in midfield...

Can't see us beating them at Anfield...

The Good thing is that Barca can switch off of whole games, and it is possible that they could do so at Anfield

When we dont have someone runnng at their defence from midfield for 90 mins, that's the price to pay. What's the point origi on when he doesn't threaten barca defence and spending too much time with his side and backpasses??? He looked clueless. 

We need to be careful second half though, this could easily be a game we have control of or have a mountain to climb if things don't go our way

That's what I was worried about there.. we played well again for a big part of that second half but weren't either clinical enough and showed a bit of immaturity in our play as well.

They can do that to You, 1-0 down and you're vulnerable to what they did to us second half

I don’t think you ever have a team like that in your pocket. They are like us in the respect that they will punish you if you switch off. We switched off a couple of times and they took advantage. We may have looked line we were bossing things but truth be told, there weren’t many players that can say they had a really good game tonight. 

Its certainly not impossible for us to score 3 against this lot at home but we will have to push our defence further forward leaving us more exposed to counter attacks so hard to see us not conceding.

The lineup - a formation we have never played before - was Klopp's doing.

For what it's worth, we played very well, especially in the second half. Messi FK aside, Barca had 2 shots and 2 goals to show for it. On our side, nothing fell through in our favor. Tough loss to swallow for sure.
