If anyone has a bet on todays game, at least part of the winnings (if you've won that is) should go on this fund raising organization!

I donated £10, not much I know but I haven't been working for over a month but I just couldn't get on without donating knowing so many people have donated and I hadn't.

I'm sure some of you guys who haven't donated yet have a good job, with plenty of money comming through which is probably being spent on alcohol and cigarettes. Come on, ten or twenty pounds towards the good cause in this fundrasing wouldn't hurt would it?

Well done lad.  We have raised a total of over £400 already for the hospice.

Not quite half way there but we've got until the 31st of May. I'm quite confident that the £1000 target will be met before then! I didn't know about this thread until a few days ago, and if I was using this forum during the time I was working I'd be donating a lot more than I did thats for sure.

Some people like to spend over £100 on food, clubbing and drink on a night out, even when its not a special occasion. I've done this before and it gives me that guilty feeling, loads of money wasted when there are better ways of spending a bit of your money.

Alcohol & ciggaretts = total waste of money, just remember how much these companys are laughing with money whereas places like Zoe's Place Baby Hospice are in big need of the money. Think about it.. it's your choice :confused-smiley-013:

Sorry, don't want to sound like I'm going on and on, I just feel like there are a lot of forum users on here who are not contributing to this campaign :(

If I can donate a measly ten pound, anyone could!

Good on you for donating Ra. And there could be some more on here to donate, you're right.

But don't forget, a measly ten pound to you might be a lot of money to other people mate. So it's important to note that it doesn't matter at all how much anyone can donate.

      Anything is better than nothing.

I’ll have to come on here at lunch and make a donation for a bet I had on the Sunderland v Birmingham game.  The bet was that I thought Birmingham would win and Em thought it would be a draw, as Sunderland won we have agreed to donate half each so it’s still the same amount of £2.50.

Done total now raised stands @ £337.50.

It's an Irish bank. You nearly have to give a DNA sample to make a deposit.
