I wasn't aware that the Royal family have any hotels, what exactly do you expect a 93 year old monarch to be doing at this time??

It is a good gesture by Gary, but all the hotels are empty at the moment anyway, I'm sure he's getting some nice compensation for this, he certainly should be.

No just several dozen massive, empty properties, some located in heavily affected areas.

And the Queen is the head of state, if the literal head of state is unable to do anything in a time of crisis then she should F**k off and give the role to somebody who can!

Ah socialism the politics of so so much envy. The Queen is 93 years old, what do you expect her to be doing, going around house to house?  If you despise the monarchy because its all inherited then you must despise your own children who are inheriting your business from you, or would that make you a sanctimonious hypocrite!

      Politics of envy  :lmao:

Too right I'm envious that I have to go to work to keep a roof over my head while a family of paedophiles who sit on their arse all day own more castles than I have pounds in my bank account!

The test takes 2 hours to perform, you could be doing these on a daily basis, it is easily done.

Match day squad has 18 players, plus manager, assistant manager, first team coaches and medical staff etc. All of these would have to be individually tested without having them all at the same place to do so. Then for both teams to have this then you are looking at a good 60+ people being tested on the morning of a game and a team might not then have time to travel if they have an away game a good 3 hours or so away.

It's not possible when you also need to be at the stadium about 3 hours before kick off. Also, if someone is found to test positive then the game would have to be called off because that person would have been training with the team and no risks would be taken and the team then likely need to go into isolation. Then what happens with the broadcasting, the fans who have gone to the game etc?

Simply 100000% not happening and not in the slightest bit a sensible idea.

It sounds a lot like privilege, and it is; golf club is closing the clubhouse.

I can still have my morning round, but not go into the clubhouse after.

No biggie for me, as I don't often bother.

Not really any surprise given the amount of elderly members. A lot of them don't really play, they just go for the social side of it.

It's another sign that people are really starting to take this seriously, although I might flip out on the next gobs***e saying "Boris is doing a great job".
      He's really not.

That MOTD one will be worth a watch I think.

Sounds decent but not sure I can be fu**ed with it if it's got the likes of Shearer and Lineker on it.

Let's face it, it will be mostly them drooling over Manc captains, with 10 seconds of Gerrard thrown in somewhere later on.

It seems to be this list - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51871622. They're asking people to rank them, so I guess the final list will be who people choose out of  Shearer, Terry, Henderson, Vidic, Vieira, Keane, Gerrard, Adams, Kompany and Morgan.

Apparently one of the FA Cup Classics is Everton v Ipswich from 1985 - so might be worth giving that a miss!

That's actually not a bad list.

Personally, I'd have Hyypia on there as well, as 2001 skipper.

Yup, and that'll be him slipping.

He's one of the ten they're asking people to rank, along with Henderson.

Look fella we all want football to start again, and it will when it is the right time when that is who knows.
You keep on saying that the players could be tested daily etc etc. Yes they could, but health and safety states that any match played regardless of crowd size has to have at least one ambulance in attendance.
Dont you think the NHS is under enough pressure without this ?
I really don't understand why you cant grasp this.

Which of the Royal families properties are in heavily affected areas, do you mean Buckingham Palace?? Surely a hotel would be better suited wouldn't it.

By the way you know full fell that the Queen has next to zero official power, that power all lies with the government, if you don't know this then shame on your teachers!

Are you saying its not possible to test 60 people in one day?? All these players have been in isolation for 3 weeks already are superfit, ultra low risk as are their families. IN any case testing would be done on a daily basis by club doctor so no need to test everyone on the same day.

GAMES PLAYED BEHIND CLOSED DOORS!!!!! F**k me how many times do I have to say this, you need minimal staff in the stadium, but keep them away from the players as much as possible, social distancing.

It is easy to do, 10000000000% easy

if only we had comrade Corbyn organising this together with Diane Abbott, we'd have squillion of everything we needed then and it would only cost about £8.50!
