Worst film you have seen recently...

Let me help you out. There's about three or four pages where we all declared Avatar (James Cameron's) to be a steaming pile of poo. 

How that film got nominated for best picture i have no idea.

I'd like to add Gnomeo & Juliet to the list.
I didn't hold much hope for it anyway but the only time I laughed was when a toddler in the cinema randomly shouted, "oh nooo!"

You will meet a tall dark stranger it was the worst film from Woody Allen. It had a story in it but the end was the stupidest thing I have ever seen, or say not seen cause there was no ending.

Yeah, thats what technical oscars are for! Trying to justify the films best picture nomination with a comment like that actually proves my point more

I thought it was brilliant, as a spectacle. Seriously, i walked out thinking 'Wow' at how good it looked. But then i thought about the film itself... and it's sh*t, it really is. It's threadbare plot, slow, predictable. Nothing a best picture nominee should ever be.

As Huyton said, and many others have - it was Dances With Wolves with Aliens. And Dances With Wolves was 10x better anyways, not that its a film i love either.
