I wouldn’t be too hard on the boys , they came across a championship side that’s full of confidence, fresh and with nothing to lose. I thought we did well but also made some pretty stupid errors . The man of the match poll doesn’t lie. Mostly defensive players get the votes along with Jota but the ones without any votes are the ones that had a really poor game.

Would the semi likely to be played on the 16th (Saturday) or the 17th (Sunday)?

      Get the fuckk iiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

As usual we did it the hard way but we are through and that's all that matters.

Bring on City in the semis, going to be a cracking tie.

Surely we go full strength for that!

      Sure hope so, full strength

Yes, we don't play Mo, Sadio or Robbo and I didn't see the bench before the game today but was stunned when a mate told me Mo and Sadio weren't even in the lineup!

He was able to do that today but if we went out of the comp, can u imagine the grief he would have gotten on top of now being out of the running for the quadruple.

Wasn’t a good performance at all, was a rattled and uncomfortable performance.

Ox was once again crap and threw his usual strop as he was taken off. Thought Jota and Bobby were well below par and Virgil made some strange decisions the way he was running into the back of Forest players and giving away cheap free kicks.

Was definitely a performance from Forest knowing they are the under dog with nothing to lose but everything to gain so really went for it. But that said, I don’t remember more than the one occasion where there really threatened us.

A win and a clean sheet but we will have to step it up a few gears in the next round.

Patchy, disjointed game from us upfront. How many times did we mis-control the ball, over hit a pass, not pick the right option.
But again, managed to win away from home and keep a clean sheet :)
And through to the semi final :)
They had some good chances, probably should have scored with a bit more quality.
Kostas was poor imho, apart from the ball in for Jota's goal, thought he was the weak link defending, and delivery generally poor going forward.
Gomez did better than I expected, thought would be rustier, not as good as TAA going forward, but defended OK.
      CBs solid enough as usual.
AOC and Elliot passengers while on.
The 4 subs didn't make a huge difference, but it was enough to give us a little more quality/legs at that stage of the game.
Jota again popping up with an important goal.

All in all, good result, not great performance, clean sheet, a semi final at Wembley.
      We roll on :)

It was a really poor performance. So many bad passes and first touches.
I think the attack with Jota and Firmino did not work.

And in the midfield, Keita was below par and Oxlade was trying too hard. I think his time is over, too many opportunities not taken. A real problem we have is that our midfield does not like to dictate the tempo to get us out of tricky situations and release the pressure.

I don't understand Klopp's management of Origi and Minamino who deserved a chance. But it seems to work so far.

Jota, what a player. He was average, but he does what a striker should do, score goals. Firmino should not forget that.

Did our back four lose confidence in our midfield in the second half.
It was like they didn’t want to give them the ball.
So many 40 yard hoofs to no one.
      Just booted up field 🤷‍♂️

Agreed. That's what I said too. The midfield seems to not like taking responsibility.

That’s what’s champions do. Win while not playing well. Put a ball into the net while pissing around. I had every confidence we would score. I was just waiting for us to score. It came late but it still won us the match.

Sure we won but don’t try this with City and other top teams. Bet none of us will. Next game please. Me moving on. Nothing to worry or be careful or warning signs or needing better players to think about. Just a routine attitude to the match.
