First defeat in domestic football in 2022.

Very poor for large portions of that game and any top team probably would have done us more than one goal.

      Start Fabinho.

I said to start Carvalho instead of Elliot but yeah can't pretend I thought both of them would start but seems they should have.

Mainly do not start Milner and Henderson together.

We wouldn't have won either. Everyone was sloppy.

Lack of hunger desire aggressiveness. Playing Man Utd didn't mean anything to these money grabbing players. It's just another game for them. Got bullied by Man Utd all over the park. Embarrassing!

Not sure we would have lost if the changes were made at HT tbh.

I suppose I may need to give the Internet a break for a few days after that outing.

We look old bro. Bobby, Hendo, Milner, etc. All great players, but father time is undefeated. I fear we don't have the right guys waiting to take over (Jones, Kieta, Ox, etc.)

We ignored the signs and now we're here. No one to blame but ourselves.

Very injury prone / old squad. Time to tell some hard truths and do something about it. Start with Kieta
Brought a new wonderkid from Fulham in but he won't give him the minutes...10 mins here and there when already behind

I dread to think what City and Haaland would have done to us if we played them in that state the way they were cutting us open today.

Gave Carvalho MOTM , just because he was the only bugger who looked creative ! Whilst people moan about the team selection from Jürgen ,this team should have been enough to see us win ,but the lads just did not seem up for it ....not going tp slag off individuals , our first loss so far , next game ...

Yes the midfield was all over the place. Nobody seemed to have any defined roles. Milly was all over the place, Elliott was full of running but not much else. Hendo was trying to stem the tide.

Usually the Boss goes with Fabinho & Hendo..solid, dependable, know exactly how to play together..but for some reason he split them up.

Mo has deffo lost his MoJo. Pity about Darwin, he would've taken some of the heat off Mo.

Realistically, how else could we have lined up with the players available?

Down to manager who is available and our squad depth piss poor

Deserved to lose too, haven’t deserved 3 points in the first 3 games.

      That’s worrying

      we  look knackered. staggering.

Knackered? With sports science these days, there's no excuse and it should not happen. The players should be fighting tooth and nail but instead looked casual like they've already won the league. Look at their passes. Just poor.

Too much loyalty to the likes of Milner , Henderson , and Firmino.

Not liking what is happening with Kieta thing too. Need fresh blood in our team.

Dead on. Love Mily and Bob, but their past it. TBF, you had to play all 3 today due to injury.

I wouldn't go as far as saying depth is piss poor.  A fair accusation would be that some of our players are very injury prone.

We have got 10 players out, 10 players who would be in the 20 man squad.

The lack of aggression in our CBs tonight compared to theirs was alarming . Half hearted tackles , standing off.. Attitude and body language shocking

What’s come clear this season is we won’t over run many midfields this season.

Just got to hang in until Thiago returns and gets injured again 🙄

We have basically gone into a campaign gambling with our injury prone midfield, terrible planning.
