If we get beat I dont think it changes alot. We know (most of us anyway) we've got issues.

Whatever the score we need to see a good performance to take forward.

Last season at Fulham we were dreadful and it kind of set the tone. Yes alot of negativity about but hopefully they come out with a point to prove. We can hurt them with our attack

Feels abit like when we played them in torres' first game.

I was in the away end that day, the most volatile away end I’ve ever been in. The hate and betrayal fuelled the fire for 90 minutes. Some lad set fire to a Torres shirt as the game kicked off. Said to myself I wouldn’t boo him before the game and booed all game until he was subbed. We were never losing that game.

I’m not sure this game will have quite the fervour of that one but it’ll be feisty given the last couple of days.

Well, this will be a nice distraction from the circus that has been our summer transfer thread.... 

We've got a pretty decent side when everyone is fit and available, which I believe they all are at the moment.  For me, TAA has to play as the DLPM in possession.  I don't really care where he plays out of possession, he's not on the field for his defensive abilities.  Additionally, Jota has to play.  He's our best goal poacher after Mo and the game is about scoring goals, especially considering we look unlikely to keep many clean sheets this season....  For me, I would go with this:

Ali
Konate - VVD- Robbo
TAA
Szobo - Mac - Gakpo - Lucho
Mo - Jota

It's certainly very attack heavy, but until we get a #6 to balance the side then I think we should aim to win games in a shootout. 

Gone for a 2  1 away win, for the Reds against Chelsea. An away win especially against this lot, will be a great start to the season.

Don't mind people accepting Fernando back into the fold. But I don't get how Torres gets a free pass whilst Owen is still cast out in the badlands. Even more bizarre when unlike Owen, Torres ultimately contributed the sum total of F**k all silverware during his time here. There are levels and Torres ain't even close to Owen's

Think I’d go with something similar.
Id start Nunez instead of Diaz.
Gone for  1/3 . Mo, Jota and Nunez.

Owen's a greedy little sh*te. That only cared about his shitty England place the bluenose pr**k.  The way he wouldn't offer Rafa any time and fu**ed off to Madrid after running his contract down for a paltry F***ing £8 million.

Torres was sold by these owners cos someone advised them to cash in on him because of the knee injury and joined Chelsea cos we accepted their offer. Remember his falling put with Gerrard and the middle fingers in the warm down at Wolves away. Torres didn't walk away, we let him!!
