Don't know what you are complaining about, that Jonny Evans is a decent defender (about 10 years ago).

The Athletic has an article on his signing: https://theathletic.com/4838182/2023/09/07/ryan-gravenberch-liverpool-transfer-inside-deal/

The title reads: How Liverpool signed Ryan Gravenberch: Patience, family meetings – and Klopp

Who would've thought?! Sometimes you need patience to sign a player...

I'm with him bro. You're playing champions league football and you want to contend for the league, and in the closing moments of a big game, out runs Evans. I literally ;D.

      Really liked what i saw,

He has some long strides when running with the ball and not afraid to run at defences. I like that.

Looking forward to see how he develops here, just hope it was cramp and not an injury, already!

A decent debut with what you would expect from a player who has spent most of the last year on the bench with some good and some bad.

Flashes of his potential which bodes well once he is up to speed.

That cross was pinpoint for the goal. He wasn't afraid to stick his head in there and battle. I thin he's only going to look better with time. Although I do wonder if he's rotational with Dom and Mac or is Mac going to get stuck playing the 6 role. Because Gravenberch doesn't look like a 6 to me.

Given what we've seen so far from Klopp it looks like Mac Allister is his go to 6 for the moment.

He had a nice debut the other night. His passing was a little wayward but you can see he has a decent touch, his first stouch won 3-4 fouls in this match and the cross for the goal was terrific. My only concern would be that he is going to get kicked a lot in the epl. As for his position i'd imagine he plays in one of the 2 more advanced roles and does a similar job to Jones when he plays. Deffo not a 6,I think Bajcetic is most suited to play this role myself butideally the club will be back in the market in January for a genuine contender. I think it's fair to say they have whiffed thus far in replacing Fabinho so it'll be Mac and Baj (and Thiago) to cover as 6 in the mean time.
