I WAS a very highly sort after Striker.

But 3 years ago I blew my knee out and had a full ACL reconstruction. Now I'm working towards my coaching certs (retired through injury and I'm only 23)

I play upfront in the bar area, helping to keep the beers cold.

A lot of years ago, I used to play for some S.pro teams, they like me to play upfront because I was a good header of the ball, but I liked to play full back, doing a Tommy Smith on the wingers. O, those where the days you could get away with just about anything, I think I would get a lot of yellow cards if I was playing today.

I loved Sunday League, it all came to an abrupt end though when we were kicked out the league because our manager decided to come on the pitch when a penalty was awarded to the other team and kick the sh*t out the ref who hapend to be the aul feller of a lad who was on the other team. A mass braul ensued.

can you beleive that theres no football team within a half hour of me and i cant get a lift to them anyway but in school there was a petition from 4 clubs i think to sign me i tried to get to training etc. but my parents having no interest in football couldnt leave me

But i used to be an out and out striker but now i see myself as a CM because this year i think im about 5yards quicker than before and alot stronger (thank you weights :) I hope to someday play for a team though

played from the age of 5-13 for a local team, played either centre back or right back.

now i just play with my mates and usually play defensive midfield, my height of 6' 4/5 helps

I still play a bit, I play as a CAM really (basically means im too lazy to get back ) as im good at passiing over or through defences for quick attackers aswell as taking shots of distance and getting in and heading the ball on crosses as im a tall lad (6'5)

KFC is hard to beat.  In the Euros though I was disappointed to see Grease slip out.

I have always played either full back or on the wing on my youth/school teams. The main reason I played in the wide positions was I could really whip a good ball into the box for the strikers.

I used to play left midfield or sweeper , great mems but now siffting round b&q on a sunday morning , but my son has taken up dads old role , masch beware !
