I was brought up in a world were protestants follow Rangers and Catholics follow Celtic so being a protestant naturally it was Rangers.  Its a terrible thing to be born into a hatred so bitter that it literally can be life or death at times depending on what team you support.  But gradually the blue was washed out of me replaced by only red

I still check up the scores but really couldn't care less.  But I do follow Linfield from the Irish league.

I'm assuming that you were brought up in Northern Ireland, or maybe Glasgow. Apologies, but for some peculiar reason a large part of Scotland seems to have the same views that were instilled upon yourself, but cannot let go. I know that Hearts still have an element of that kind of support but a little look at history would show that HMFC wanted the 'mostly catholic' Hibernian to be inducted into the league whilst the rest opposed such a move.

Personally, I don't give a 4X.

Emm i think i was due to the salary cap and Iverson wanting to go to denver, but im not 100% sure. Im more of a houstan rockets fan in basetball. I also like Ferrari in F1 if that counts as a team

only really interested in Liverpool.  nothing else matters apart from beating the Yanks in the Ryder Cup. That matters!

I keep an eye out for Watford's results being only just down the road & living in the town for a few years, but I don't lose any sleep over it if they have a bad result. I chucked a few quid in when they were having their financial problems though, wouldn't have liked to see them go under & quite a few of my mates take their kids there.
