Yes, Torres and Gerrard are back!!! ;D ;D

Now there is no reason why we cant beat them nw we have all our key players back from injury and olympics

                            Reina

      Carragher   Agger   Skrtel   Dossena

      Babel   Mascherano  Gerrard  Riera

                  Keane    Torres

Subs:  Cavalieri, Arbeloa, Aurelio, Alonso, Lucas, Kuyt, N'Gog

I dont think Rafa would play the lone striker formation because against United with that formation last season Torres was very isolated and saw little of the ball as it was basically 4 vs 1 plus the defensive midfielder. With Keane there too it would enable them to create more space for eachother so Gerrard can pick them out ;)

Now we have two actual wingers i do hope we stop all this long ball and narrow play nonsense.

They have no Ronaldo and 3 strikers all vying for the same posistion but 1 wll be on the wing, most likely Herman Munster Head (which i am hoping to hear sung tomorrow ;))
Rooney and Tevez are not the most natural and prolific scorers around, and go in long spells without goals so that leave Berbatov as the only one who is deadly infront of goal (providing he is'nt in a bad mood) and he won't be starting i would'nt have thought so there is no reason why we can't take these scumbags.

No Ronaldo = Few goals if any and its about time we beat the tw*ts again.

      COME ON LIVERPOOL!

Who do u think will start on the left wing - Babel, Benayoun or Riera ?

Riera as he made his debut for city when they thrashed them 3-1!

Now we have two actual wingers I do hope we stop all this long ball and narrow play nonsense.

Well we have a left winger!

Obviously like everyone else I haven't been able to stop thinking about the game. last night I had a really intense dream about the match, I really felt like I was at Anfield and we won the game 3-1, manure got a free kick on the edge of the box and shot it over the bar just before time, Anfield erupted! they also got a penalty but Reina saved it. It was electric, The celebrations were massive after the game and it woke me in the middle of the night with my heart racing,  I couldn't get back to sleep for another couple of hours.

lets hope its a premonition ;)

Now that Torres and Gerrard are fit I'd like to see this line up:

      ----------------Reina--------------------

      --Carra----Skrtel---Agger---Dossena--

      --Babel---Gerrard---Masch----Riera---

      ---------Torres------Keane-----------

      or:

      -----------------Reina--------------------

      --Carra----Skrtel---Agger---Dossena--

      -----------Gerrard-----Masch-----------

      ---Babel---------Keane-----------Riera---

      -------------------Torres------------------

Subs: Kuyt, Alonso, El Zhar, Aurelio, Arbeloa, Beneyoun, N'gog

      3-1 to us, Keane (25), Torres(52) and Gerrard(75)

God I hope my dream comes true.

      GET IN!!!  :kop5cf8koxp6: :kop5cf8koxp6: :kop5cf8koxp6: :kop5cf8koxp6: :kop5cf8koxp6:

Do you know what I'm not to worried who does and doesn't play for us and I certainly dont give a flying F..F..Fig who plays for that shower from up the East Lancs Road. This is Liverpool at Anfield with an atmosphere Galatasaray would find intimidating and I dont care who you are the crowd and the passion matter.

Corned beef nose is reaching for the bottle already as Rafa has done his head in with his will he wont he play performances, even Radio Merseyside have been reporting on Torres being in and out the team and for once I think the mind games have blown up in Fergies face so much so that he's resorted to trying to threaten us with an appearance of 'Love you long time Ronaldo'.
Sorry slur Alex but even if he did get his stiletto's on and turn out for you he wouldn't feature in the match because as far as I know he hasn't really done that much at Anfield to get us worried, because your teams have had nothing but luck and late goals to boast of in our recent battles.

Granted its the result that matters and in the league at home against them we have been unfortunate, indecisive and lets face it prone to falling asleep at just the wrong times, but today that will change because I have a feeling and yes its the same one I get at every lottery draw but this time I am certain we will get a result. If Gerrard or Torres dont play its time for someone else to step up to the plate and deliver, there will be no hiding place today and if the reds (the real reds! how can you be the reds when you have white or black shorts on?) create a bit more and just believe the evil ones can be beaten I think we will win 3-1 with Robbie Keane scoring in front of the Kop.

      C'mon you Red men :kop5cf8koxp6:

err if it does go all belly up I will see you around Christmas and just forget I ever posted this. ;)

Normally, I'm very nervous before this fixture, but this morning I'm really relaxed and confident that the Reds will get a result today.  Soooo looking forward to this match, we can do this.  As Glenbuck has already stated, the only wins MANURE have had in recent times has been through luck and late scuzzie goals.

Its our turn today -   COME ON YOU REDMEN !!!!!!!!!   :kop5cf8koxp6:

Xabi: Liverpool must end losing streak against Man Utd
      13.09.08 | aloadofw**k.com

Xabi Alonso admits Liverpool have to halt a run of five straight League defeats against defending champions Manchester United today.

The Spain midfielder said: "If we want to be champions this season, we cannot afford to lose any points at Anfield. We cannot fail in this type of game, especially at home.

"It would be sensational to beat the champions and an important demonstration that we can fight for the title."

      Radoban,
I think you have the team spot on.........stability in the middle, with Gerrard behind Torres. The back 4 you can have a few combinations, but its not at the back I am worried about, its our cutting egde up front. With the set up of this team you have stability in the middle, with a cutting edge in hte final 3rd including Gerrard behind Torres.
Alot of other posts have Gerard in CM, but not for me, he doesn't and can't control games and that is where the game will be determined. Let Gerrard be his inspirational self unleashing panic on the scum defence, without having to worry about what is happening behind him.
