If the unspeakable was to happen and Rafa finally had enough of the sh*te hes been taking who would you want to replace him personally I would go for Martin O'Neil but most of the lads I have said it to would like Mourinho I think too much bad blood.

      Opinions anyone?

      What's the unspeakable?

All the Rafa bashers getting their way and putting our club back 10 years?

I suggest you find some new lads to talk to about it.

Why not cross that bridge when we come to it?

Also, if we do ever come to it, managers may be in different jobs by then, and therefore not open to offers.

Nope. He's a c**t, totally against what we stand for and would definately not work with our owners as patient as Rafa has.

O'Neill, too soon to open old wounds.

I thought Rafa was still our manager we shouldn't even talk like this 'till we see where the season goes.

I'm not Benitez' biggest fan but he's our manager, so lets wait until he isn't before we start questioning who should and who shouldn't be his replacement eh.

      God no!

Let him learn his trade as a coach first, either through our backroom system or elsewhere. Certainly don't burden him with managing and playing, that's crazy. In time he could be the man, but give it a decade.

The game has moved away from just appointing our favourite players and especially player-managers. You just couldn't do that at a top club with all that management entails these days.

There's no point in saying "Rafa is a legend....end of!" If we fail to bring home a trophy this season then there'll be nothing legendary at all. I dont want to get into the "we're doing better than last season" argument because whilst we have improved, so has everyone else. If Rafa goes, which he probably should if we have another trophyless season, I for one would welcome Mourinhio. I know he has had his friction with our club in the past but its not like that was personal. The man was doing his job and managing our rivals. Cant see it happening but I definitley think Mourinhio would be the man for the Job. However at the present time, we need to back Rafa as the manager of our club. The end of the season may be a different story but we have to just wait and see.

Mourinho may not play attacking football, but he does win alot of trophies.

That said, I don't want him here, the man is scum and I hope he stays well away from the Premier League.

Actually if Rafa walked at the end of the season, then yes I'd want Jose.

F**k it I'd rather have him than that leprechaun O'Neil and come on admit it, you'd f***in love it, if we scored a last minute winner at OT and he came charging down the touchline like a loon.

What is this unspeakable nonsense? Benitez got us to 2 Champs Lge Finals and won one and we one an F A Cup, which don't get me wrong is fantastic, but can we really compare this as the same unspeakable as when Dalglish resigned?

If he wasn't to win us the league this season, then undoubtedly the pressure is on him and would we really back him  if season after season, we failed to win it? I for one would think it's maybe time for someone new. Until that time comes, I'lll support him all the way
      .

Like you say at the start though.......it's unspeakable, because Rafa is the man.
